Good day all.

I am in the process of switching to Organic.

I am trying to build a soil from easy to attain soils and minerals.

Home Depot - Canadiantire etc.

So far I have mixed;

1 part CIL - Triple Mix with Kelp
1.5 parts Promix Organic Herb And vegetable
1 part Guano
1 part Worm Castings(Neighbour supplies this)
3 part Biomaxx peat-Shrimp Manure
1/4 Bone Meal
1/4 Blood Meal

Add perlite to desired amount.


I will let this cook a few weeks but don't think it needs to.

Plan is to have this in bottom half of pot and Promix Organic on the top half.

I am curious if I should add anything else and if there is an organic top dressing that is all purpose so to speak.

Any feedback is appreciated.

throw in some dolomitic limestone for cal-mag supplementation, i think canadian tire sells a big bag of it for like $6-7.

I've been seeing that and wasn't sure if it was required.
