T12's do they work well for vegging?

I just bought some 4' T12's 40 watt 6500k 3100 lumens. Anyone use these and if so how did they work for you.

I never used them for cannabis. They will work for you fine. However, HO or VHO T5's or CFL's are better. They work much better than T12 because the light intensity is much greater with T5's or CFL's.

I use a 6 light 4' fixture with t12's in it for veg. Had a few extra cases of them and will use till all of them burn out. Work great.

so mixed reviews, ive been using cfls and just thought id try this out and see what the diff is very cheap for the t12s about 15 bucks for fixture and lights

Oh i have a 400watt switchable HPS MH for flower and im trying the 12/12 from seed method with these T12s they are set on my timer and gonna put them right under the 400 when i harvest in two weeks

You can use them, but they are a little weak.

I use T-12's for clones and mothers.

Veg under T-5' HO (TEK-2 from HTG)

Flower under HID's 400w HPS and 400w MH
