T5 and LED side lighting experiment

Decided to try different lst and hst techniques on two jack herer and one chemdog dwc. After veg decided to flower with t5 and then wanted to try led side lighting. In week 11 and the results are fantastic. Anyone ever tried? Do you think the increase is a result of the lst and main line or am I on to something with the lighting? No temp issues and plant are happier than with HPS

I think both the lst and the side lighting helped you along. I've always ran cheap lights and most of it was sidelighting, I find the penetration/intensity to be better, more light=more bud, even if your sidelighting seems overpowered by whatevers on top. Your eyes will decieve you that way but PAR will not.

I will try again because i have heat issues with hps in the warm months. I guess it could be good genetics too. I just never see anyone post about it.

Nice idea Jack. If i had extra lights lying around i'd do that for sure
