Taking cuttings

G'day all
I need to cut take about 300mm of height of my mother plant and was wondering about taking cuttings around the 200mm to 300mm tall instead of my usual 100mm
Otherwise I'm going to end up.with 100 clones and only use about 10
She clones great always 100% strike rate
Just any advice would be great

You can take clones from anywhere off the plant, I've done tops and bottoms with 100% success rate using rooter pods and cloneX in a humidity dome. From what I've read, bottom branches have best chance for success

I read that 9 inches is a nice size. i wish i could remember where i found that so i could link it.

Just haven't got a humidity dome big enough but it is and will be for the next month or two 50% to 100% humidity where I'm from so should be alright

lol i would have cut them without thinking about the dome good call.

The bigger the clone the better life it will have iv read also, plus, 4 weeks from taking the cutting you can flip them to flower with a semi good root ball.

These are the smallest I've taken with still 100% success rate. From roughly 2 month old mother.
