Tanning bed lights?

Some one I know had a suggestion to use light bulbs out of a tanning bed. I am not trying this I am using hps...however I was just wondering why/why not these lights would be good/ bad for the plant...I just wanted to open this subject for discussion.

Never use tanning lights! They are mainly UVB and will do no good to your plants, and you could quite easily burn your eyes if you are under them tending your plants.

Would be nice to have a cloning/vegging/flowering/tanning room.
I like having a tan when I smoke.
