TBE Growing The Dream

With the harvest of my black Indica on Wednesday, I must get on with the (next) show!

Many similarities this time around, also a handful of changes.

Strain = CB Dream x5 (Fem)
Medium = Soil (promix) + Perlite
Containers = 7 gallon fabric (final)
Nutrients = GH flora series
In/out door = indoor, home built 8x4 closet, 8 ft tall.
Ph = 6.2 - 6.7
Lighting = 12x 4ft strip bridgelux eb2 DIY build. 2688 diode count

So I didn't get the variety of seeds I had ordered from Seedsman yet so I had to pop the 5 pack of cbdream from crop king.
I started the germination process last Thursday morning (Feb 28)
Then the paper towel, then to the dirt on Mar 3rd. 100% germ rate again! I like it.

These girls get bigger pots and better light from the get - go, and myself being better equipped knowledge wise, so i expect better results!
Not that I am at all disappointed with my first round.
Going to rig up an easier way to water for myself as well.
Manifold system, from a tote reservoir, with manually operated 1/4 turn ball valves to select the individual plant. Gravity feed should suffice but I have a pump if required.

Haven't been on in a while but the ladies are doing well.
I've shortened the light from 18/6 to 12/12 over the course of about 10 days.
Watering every 4th day. 5 liters water each.

Hey there, thanks!
I'm from one of the gulf islands but I'm living in Grande Prairie AB now.... Not quite the same but such is life lol

I'll check out your grow as well.

@thebigearl
Very nice!! I reside in central Alberta. Born and raised!

So your plants are 10 days into flower? Very exciting! The real fun is about to begin! I’m eager to see your final harvest. Those plants look like monsters!

Well I wouldn't say I'm in day 10 just yet, I dropped an hour of light every two days, so a gradual approach to the 12/12 cycle.

Hey @thebigearl, nice and healthy, big girls you've got there! :headbanger:
I'll be along for your flowering journey! :ganjamon:

Highya TBE,

Nice looking ladies you have there. Very nice grow room! Should keep you happy for a long time to come.

Most growers switch to 12/12 all at once, then count days from then for being in flowering mode. You'll get the hang of all of it. But always, "what works for you" is the best.

Surprised not so many talking to you. Hopefully, it'll pick up. Great job! Cheers

Thanks!
I just wanted to try something different, that's all. No science behind it.
Obviously in nature as summer comes to an end the days get shorter, I wanted to simulate that in the grow room but to a much quicker transition, lol.
That's all. I let these girls veg a bit longer than the last crop so I wasn't in a hurry to switch to flower either.

Ladies are doing well. Fed them tonight. Using the exhaust fan to pull air into the grow shack to counter the high humidity.
Some pictures for fun..

They are looking great @thebigearl! :yummy: Monster plants you've grown there! :bravo:

Highya Earl,

Those ladies look great! Could use a little defoliation, but you're the boss. The look very nice, though! Cheers

I've been fighting the defol bug, I wanted to let them just do their thing without interference.
I did a very minor defol today at watering. They are very healthy gals.
I've also got 6 fresh seedlings on the rise. Different strain.
