Starting this journal off a little ahead of schedule, but I wanted to at least get it started before I get too far ahead into this run!! In the main flower room I have 4 of my purple trainwreck cuts that have been training and vegging under t5 lights now for about a month if that. I have two rooms being flowered out at the moment now or at least just starting their flower schedules. The one 5x5 tent with a northern lights mother and now just put 4 purple trainwreck cuts in the main flower room I normally use to flower in but since I relined all the Mylar and improved my grow bench I use for runoff testing I’m finally ready to get this room back up and going!! But on that note to end this first entry what your seeing in the pictures are 4 purple trainwreck cuts from the library of mothers, and as of today I’ve set up one trellis that is set in place and one other layer of trellis I’ve put ready to lay over in a couple days once the explosion of growth occurs!! Planning to veg them out for a few more days to get them used to the full spectrum and then off to the races for 7 weeks of flower!! First update but much more to come!! Stay tuned...

Update! Second trellis now hanging over the canopy and tops already peaking threw. With this cut of trainwreck from the mother I don’t have to do much defoliation when it comes to lollipoping the lowers. She likes to be full and I’ve done both lollipoping on her and without doing it and I seem to loose yield when I lollipop and no matter what I do with her she always impresses me on all aspects of a great genetic!! So this run I’m just going to be doing defoliation on the leaves to keep good air flow and let her do her thing.. more to come once I decide to flip the light schedule in the room but for now I’m letting the 4 cuts fill out the trellis before I do that!

Update!! Flower begins tonight for these lady’s!! All four are peaking threw and filling up just about every square of the trellis now. These girls will be monsters once the stretch begins and they already smell amazing in veg which was one of my indicators to keep her in the library for genetic pheno hunts. Which I’ve already started popping some of her beans to hunt for something special!! I’m sure I’ll be making a journal of that hunt later on, but for now I’m just going to stick to my limits on plant numbers so I don’t hurt anyone’s feelings lmao!!

Update! Lights are being adjusted to a much nicer amount of ppfd reach for flower today, and I’m documenting the stretch this run so that I have a precise stretch length I can put to this strains info that I’ve been working on for some time now! I’ll Admit this genetic is amazing on every aspect she’s easy to grow with no issues in the deficiency department what so ever! You can stress her out to any point and will always reward me with no nanners. A true lady I must add no herm traits available in her genetic pool. And the smells she brings out even early in veg as young as 2 nodes is just mind blowing!!! More to come once the stretch has begun to set in and the third trellis needs to be installed. She looks a little messy I’ll admit with all that leaf she has on, but I’ll be doing a small amount of defoliation here very soon in order to have a little light penetration on the lower section, but I don’t need to do much to these ladies because she’s happy on all levels of her canopy! More to come!!

Update!! The stretch is definitely setting in and filling up the third trellis I’ve installed on the 18th this month. Tomorrow looks like a huge leaf removal job in this room, but at least I don’t have to do much branch removing quote on quote lollipoping. Because she grows great on yeild and bud size no matter what I do, but air flow is still a must for me so that’s why some leaves are going to have to go. Plus I had to wait a couple days to strip a bunch of stuff off these ladies due to all the nasty rain and humidy we have been getting here. This part of the year is tuff even inside to try and keep room humidy ideal for my growing conditions. Sooo that’s why it had to wait a couple days because scarring her up definitely raises my humidys levels around here!! But all in all this room is coming along very nice much more to come so stay tuned!!

I am so copying this setup in my smaller room; thank you! I started with tomato cages and they actually worked better than I deserved. I have a cargo net that fits my room almost exactly - this is very nice! Can't wait to see the grow finished - congratulations.

Well thank you my friend much appreciated!!! And you bet no problem let me know if there’s anything you need some advice on in the process.. be happy to help a fellow grower out!!

Update!!! Did some leaf and branch removal{defoliation} today in the flower room to open all them up some for better air flow. I’ve adjusted the canopy to fill up all the squares in the trellis so the canopy will be nice and even threw out. Dealing with a lot of humidy issues being that the weather here outside is starting to get nasty with rain in the forecast a few days out of the week each week so now until winter sets in for good around these parts I’ll be uping the dehumidifiers for a little while!! The pictures below should be in order from before and right after I did the defoliation to show the amount that was done to them. The only thing I have to constantly do as maintenance for this room is remove large fan leaves that cover prime bud spots that I’m trying to train to come to the surface of the last two trellis. And the first trellis is how I shape everything and eliminate most branches and leaves that would just stretch up and get in the way of all the prime bud locations. Less stress more success haha!! ( oh yeah hint anyone looking at my temp and humidity monitor don’t go off any of that because it’s wayyy off due to me lowing my hang down supplementary lights and they were right up to each other and I took the picture before I relocated the monitor away from the heat. )

Update!! Girls are really in their stretch phase now, and bud sights are now stacking up showing true colors! If you notice the garden looks very full of fan leaves now and needs another defoliation in the next couple days! Been fighting with the rain here past few days which kinda blows when you have buds forming!! My dehumidifier is not able to keep up with what I have at the moment so I’ll be getting another one it looks like!! But all in all room is filling up nicely and I’ll throw another update up once I’ve done the defoliation to them!!

Update!!! Major stretch has come to a halt now and just waiting for the inner bud sights to reach for the light even with the main top canopy so that I can permanently adjust the lights/ppfd to where I’m comfortable. Then it’s time to start with a heavier ppm feed to leave the girls to finish up without too much more maintenance to have to do while their off to the finish line! But other than that update the only thing else I’ve done to these fine ladies the past few days would be a leaf defoliation and train the girls to completely fill up the trellis canopy.. will also be needing to turn up the dehumidifier now that these ladies are completely filling up the room they are in!! much more to come!!

Update!!! Girls are finished with main stretch and now just watching the inner buds stretch on up! Did some major leaf defoliation this morning. I’m sorry I forgot to get the before pictures ,but the after pictures are what your looking at now. The main canopy is right on point with the sea of green scrog method and very uniformed I might add! Much more to come!!

Update!!! Going to have to throw a 4th trellis on the ladies!!! My fault tho I had vegged these girls a little longer than I had planned so they got a little out of hand on me!! But other than that they all 4 seem to be thriving with no issues yet! But this trainwreck cut never has givin me an issue yet to date.. crossing my fingers on that one!! I’ll throw up some pics when I have adjusted the trellis and I’m either adding another trellis or just sticking bamboo sticks threw the 3 trellis layers that are up now.. more to come!

Moto, keep doing your thing brother. Very nice, you ever bend those leaders?
Guess it really doesn't matter, you are busting out some major flowers.
Great job
:passitleft:
Thanks my friend I really appreciate you giving my stuff a look at!!! You know I did bend a couple of the main ones, but I only did that because they were stretching a little quicker than the surrounding tops.. but some times I get so paranoid I’m going to snap one off lol I try to avoid it as much as I can! These ladies are already harding up pretty stiff like!! You have any advice!!?

I have to bend sometimes because my tent is only 5ft tall. Its increased my yield by having my lowers catch up. But sometimes ill bend to far and have to use scotch tape. Only a couple of mains at a time.
Great looking garden, wish i had that much room.
Cheers
When you bend them do you have a preferred time frame to bend them? I have one funky strain that likes to herm if I stress her out the first 4-5 weeks of flower! Like if I do my normal leaf defoliation/strip during the beginning or anytime after the 5th week she throws nanners at me left and right!!! So I’d be very scared to do any bending to her, but so far most the other strains I typically run had to have been bread indoors because they won’t nanner up no matter what stress level I toss there way!! But thanks for the kindness brotha and trust me I didn’t always have the space lol but I live with a few card holders sooo the space if getting filled if I’m able to make it happen hahaha!!

Ive noticed in my grow environment the only time my plants have hermed was from transplanting into bigger containers and flipping to flowering right after. She usually throw bananas at me in week 4.
If i give her couple more weeks in Veg after transplanting, she will take a beating without herms.
Yes, ill start bending weeks 2-5 weeks, after that the canopy should be pretty consistent.
If i let my mains go without bending, usually lose roughly 2 to 3 ounces.

I definitely be tagging along.

Right on brotha I appreciate the advice!! That might be why I also can never get some of them to herm because I normally like to transplant into final pots and then let them veg another week under the full spectrum leds after being under t5s for months at a time before I flip the switch to flower! But right on my friend your always welcome in my journal!!!
