Testing soil PH in soil beds

Hi,

I am planning on growing in soil but instead of individual containers I plan on using one large bed of soil. This leaves me with no idea how to test my soil's ph since all the methods I have read so far require the testing of the run-off.

Any tips/idea's?

Thanks!

scoop out a sample gallon or 2 of soil. put in a bucket with drain holes. Apply enough nute solution that you would be using during veg and run throught he soil.collect and test runoff with dig pH meter. When going to bloom do the same test with your bloom nutes.

Indoor with soil bed? Still need to have drainage for the bed right? Collect that runoff and test as per usual. You do need drainage and you will probably not want it draining on your floor so drain and collect for disposal and test that runoff periodically.
