Texomagrass Grow #1 WWA 9-6-2018

Upgrade-
I picked up a 4 x 4 x 7 tent, Raptor 6 hood, and a Solis-Tek ballast. They also threw in a ton of Fox Farms products. Currently running on 400 watts.

White Widow Autos got a trim.
600 watt bulb came today. Installed it and raised the light a few inches. Temp 2" from glass is at 81.3°.
White Widows are at day 11 of flower. #3 is further along than #4. #4 has taken a stretch towards the new light.
I dropped 2 more WWA's and 2 Mex Red reg seeds.

So you got a 600w hps and a hood? How big is your tent?

4x4x7. There's a picture of it further up with a 400 watt bulb. Below pics are with the 600. I'm maintaining about 80° with that 600 watt bulb at about 2" from the glass. The temp in the room it's in is about 65°. I have the heater vent closed. I do not think I will be able to maintain this temp in the summertime with it set up like this. I have a fan blowing upwards towards the glass and top of canopy. I have all four top ports open. I also got a Max-Fan pro series 6" inline fan and ducting with it that I will install once I get a filter. That should help more in the summer time as well if I use it. I'm thinking about going outdoors this season.

I only wish I could handle the temps of HPS, I would be running them....

Looking great. I ordered some WW autos from Nirvana....still waiting for them to arrive. Interested to experiment with autos as well as the photos.
The Autos make it a whole lot easier in my opinion to keep a perpetual and some kind of volume going. The Autos will do their thing no matter what my light cycle is so even if I'm vegging some photos and flip them to flower the autos just keep right on doing what they do. The first round I flipped the lights to 12/12 and flowered some photos at the same time. This time I have the lights on 18/6 cuz I'm vegging a photo GSC. This way if these regular seeds end up being males I still got something awesome to harvest. And I have three more Auto seeds and three more regular photo seeds in germination.

I would really appreciate y'all's input here.

GSC has a little issue. I believe this is Calcium deficiency. I didn't have this problem before so I'm not sure. I was a little light on the nutrients after transplant. After looking at some comparison photos I'm leaning towards Calcium deficiency...

are you giving ca/mg?

No, I haven't started cal/mag yet. The Dyna Gro folks told me that 'you don't need a Cal/Mag supplement with our product'. I have been using their Mag-Pro product. The Fox Farms Flowers Kiss is a foliar with cal/mag and I did use it on the GSC. It turned right around the next day. I was also really low on the nutrients at that time. I think the Cal/Mag in that Flowers Kiss helped the plant so I'm still planning on adding it to my feeding regimen.

I topped the GSC and for practice, I am attempting to make them clones. I used a peat rooter with additional soil in a solo cup. I presoaked the rooter in a solution of KLN and PROTEKT. I put a support I could use in each cup in case the cuttings started drooping. They were not needed. These guys stiffened up quick. Pics are today- 3 days.
