THCA and CBD Tinctures and Epilepsy

Ok so there is plenty of anecdotal evidence of the value of THCA in the treatment of seizure disorders. The common cold extraction method using alcohol and then recombining the precipitated resin at 1 gram per 100ml of alcohol to produce a tincture suggests a concentration of THCA (assuming 20% THCA/THC with most street strains) of just 200mg (20% of 1g) per 100ml. So a dosage of say 2ml/day delivers the patient just (2ml/100ml x 200mg = 4mg) 4mg. Are my calculations around about right? If so that is an amazaing result on what is a very low dosage of THCA active for seizure control.

Similarly oral dosage of CBD is apparently and of course mostly (unfortunately) anecdotally delivering tangible control benefits in the 10-20mg range for sub lingual delivery and even less for vaporised CBD.

There seems to be a lot of wasteage occuring in treatment land with unsuitable delivery methods eg eating. Some reports suggest up to 90% of CBD is lost to the liver upon ingestion with food.

Lets open some discussion please.
