The Absolutely Incredible And Bulky RDWC 750w LED Dr. Krippling Incredible Bulk: 2019 Indoor Feminised

Are the temps in the box any lower with the LED's then the HPS?
Oh yeah, which means we’re back in business. For the initial flower I’m going to handfeed coco, after that I may leverage the RDWC. I may have experienced dumb luck with a pheno, but the bulk smells really great in veg. Really looking forward to seeing the flowers.

Switched from 24 to 18/6 and I’m seeing exponential growth, get the feeling she likes rest and dark periods. PPMs are dialed in and foliage and roots look great. This is going to be a big mama.

Day 45 From seed:

-RDWC
-XML 350 LED
-PH 5.8
-PPM 840
-Water Temp 65F
-Air Temp 73F
-RH 62%
-CO2 ~1200PPM

Everything is feeling dialed in and looking great. Few recent changes I made were switching lights from 24/0 to 18/6, lowering PH range from 5.8-6.0 to 5.5-5.8, and adding ReCharge into soup mix. New tops coming in look great, plant has a great smell, and no complaints. Going to start flowering clones after New Years and the plan for this bucket plant is to get her nice and big.

Veggies are also reaping the benefits of a nice mmj environment and look great. It’s ironic because the biggest grow challenge I currently have isn’t pot related at all, it’s being able to get brussel sprout, strawberry, and celery seeds to take off - have had 3 consecutive failed runs. Get the seeds to germinate and then can’t get them further. While I’d love to blame the seeds, I think it’s probably gardener error. I’m finding each plant introduces its own challenges and teaches you something.

Plant is absolute beautiful right now, but I have a decision to make. Heading out of town for 10 days and I’m debating another round of topping to slow her down. Thoughts?

I believe it may be a good idea to top before leaving, you have appx 8 shoots and topping those would double to 16 and slow her down a bit, as long as enough secondary growth is present. You could start training when you get back. At her current rate she will grow a lot in 10 days, be a shame to remove most of it. I am assuming you want many shoots to fill the tent with 1 plant right? She really does look good

Yeah I agree, just topped her again. Man this plant is BUSHY. Here’s the aftermath. She’s going to be a monster.

Went out of town for 5 days, heading out again today for 5 more. Bucket plant looks good, but my coco clones got all jacked up in my absence. Was the perfect storm as my exhaust fan didn’t auto accelerate like it was supposed to so tent reached humidity level of 94-95%, and then the CO2 ran out. Everything was fine except for one pepper plant and my clones in coco - combo of edema, deformed leaves, etc.. Took some new cuttings and will leave the deformed coco clones alone for now to see if they bounce back by the time I return.

The IB is really looking good, gonna be a nice canopy
Thanks man, trying to keep her as level as I can. Bought these small weights from a company called stem-trainer that I just rubber band around the stems and they work well so far. Took her up to 950PPM today and hopefully she’ll be strong and ready to produce when I get home.

Just got home and the verdict is... it’s baby making time! The bucket plant looks good, and I mean REAL good. I lost all of my cuttings and one coco plant but the dust, but overall I’m very happy with the condition of the garden. I wish I marked the calendar, but I’m def at over 30 days since res change and no issues - Thanks @vyserage for the insight and idea

Also thank you to @Alienpus for helping me get the setup nailed down. Finally feel like we’re in the fun part and appreciate your guy’s help.

I’m going to prune down the bucket plant to get some cuttings and then flower in the tent with all LEDs. I’ll move coco plants into the Roommate and veg them in the autopots under T5’s for the time being. Should be able to use that cab for flower afterwards, we’ll see how everything pans out.

Glad its all looking good, but those roots darkness have me questioning root rot! The fact that the plant looks great on the other hand leaves me baffled haha.

I’m probably the only guy on this site with dark brown roots who isn’t worried. Its just the ReCharge - The stuff is awesome, but it’s basically coating the roots in molasses. I’ll take the dirty roots :)

I was freaking out when I first saw them, then remembered your additive. It stains them exactly the same color as root rot

Thanks, much appreciated. Tomorrow night she flips. I moved clones into the cabinet to veg under T5’s and will hook up the 3x100w pucks, far red initiators, and UVA/IR COBs alongside the XML350 in the tent. Was debating stripping branches down to a single node, but I’m going to let them get their stretch underway to better understand how this plant will grow and then determine strategy from there. Hoping this plant will be a monster (under LED who knows).

Here are the roots after a quick water bath, maybe this will put your minds a little more at ease :). Flushed res’s today in prep for flip (and also because you both spooked me a little bit). Also added another air stone. Have some work to do and then I’ll move all the lights.

Week 1 / Day 1 Flower Underway

16 tops, 1-2 nodes per branch, complete defoliation beyond that. Using a new training system and so far seems to work well.

Not the only one! Mine are worse, in 'hot' water (80F). I'm hoping the Z7 I have running in it is going to maintain. So far tho, my top growth is amazing even tho roots are brown. Growca, what type of chiller do you have?

One thing I've noticed consistent among other growers who experience root rot, the 'wishbone' of the roots seems to go away once the brown color sets in. I've had brown for a week and a half now or so, with massive wishbone development in the roots. That's the only reason I'm not worried about anything. I'm certainly keeping an eye on it and won't be surprised if it happens...but until then, she's okay. To put you even more at ease, your roots looks more fluffier than mine, which I imagine is due to the wishboning I'm talking about. Yours is also about two weeks ahead of mine as well, so I'm hoping my roots end up like yours!
