@Teddy Edwards can you please help adjust the name of this journal? A lot has changed since the original post and hoping to reflect the accurate details in the description. Thank you.

Maybe if it’s not too much trouble, could I also change my name to something a little more catchy? Thank you!

Name = “D’Angelo”

Journal Title = “The Absolutely Incredible (And Bulky) RDWC 750w LED Dr. Krippling Incredible Bulk - 2019 Indoor Feminised”

Journal title changed.

Day 7 Flower

Well... she’s drinking a lot, consumes more Cal Mag than I’ve ever seen or heard of before, and I just provided the first dose of sugar today. Next step is trying to figure out a strategy on how to downplay this situation to my wife as I’m certain this plant is going to get REAL f#%*ing loud over next few weeks - but for now, suppose all I can do is sit back and enjoy the calm before the storm.

Also, I know I force you guys to look at my plant’s ugly roots all the time, so here’s some root porn from my buddies plant. He has officially taken his skills to next level, about as perfect as perfect gets.

She's looking mighty fine there man! Glad to see the progress. I'm digging that bell pepper I see as well. I wish I had some more room to do some veggies too. Good stuff!

What are you seeing that's indicating she's plowing through calmag? I started seeing some cal def on mine and started using it, and the def went away. Very surprising considering my water is quite high in ppm straight from the tap. I'm just curious what you're seeing so i can look for the same in my grow.

Thanks, man. CM indicators are orange spots that look like this, start to show up on misc fan leaves. Simple solution is just add more cal mag when you see this. You should def add veggies when you move into bigger tent!

Day 13 Flower

Not too much to report, she looking good. Added some support to level her out a bit and now it’s just a waiting game. Excited to see how she starts to swell up around week 5. Hoping for those big fat fatties.

Edit: Added a couple of side photos to show how she’s starting to stack.

Incredible job here man. She's looking great. And thanks for the pic! That's exactly what I noticed on mine as well.
Thanks, yeah just hit your res with some calmag every few days and you should be good. Leaves with spots will never heal, but as long as new growth looks good you’re all set.

Is that metal fence screen?
Yeah, a 4x8 sheet that has 4” squares. I just cut it in half and trimmed a few rows off with bolt cutters to get two levels, works perfect. Normally use the standard scrog net, but I’m LOVING this so far, single sheet is only $9 too.

This journal will chronical single Dr. Krippling Incredible Bulk DWC grow from seed. Starting out in tent under Advanced LED XML350 and then will transfer to 2x2x3 BCNL Roommate (DWC Grow Box) with a 400W Super HPS Hortilux to flower. Incredible Bulk is an indica made up of super skunk, green spirit, and big bud.

Starting the journal a little late, I’m currently on day 17 since initially soaking the seed. Right now the seedling is in rockwool inside of 5” net pot being hand watered until I see root growth from bottom, then I will move into DWC. Current environment in tent is average 74 degrees Fahrenheit with 50-55RH.

Nutrients: Botanicare PBP, Cal Mag Plus, Silica Blast, and still debating on either DutchMaster Zone or HydroGuard for DWC.

Here are some photos to bring you up to speed. You’ll notice some burn on tips from the latest
photo latest one - long story short I was running an experiment, and got the results I was after. Overall she’s happy and healthy, so no concerns at this point.

I use z7 by Flying Skull instead of hydroguard. Always works great. No root rot.

Never tried that but always interested in new products. Is that for sterile systems or can it work alongside organic? I’m in a weird spot with the scrog setup, idk how I’ll even check the bucket. May have to just ride or die from here on out

I use both. Z7 is supposed to leave beneficial bacterias alone and kill off the nasties. Idk how it determines what is what, but I did notice my roots aren't as stained as I thought they'd be from the nutes and calmag after I put the Z7 in. My res temps are also around or above 80F, and so far it's helped me not to worry about temps much.

I use z7 in my cloners. I have hydroguard but it seems to make a mess more than keep things clean.

I screwed up and didn't order in more z7 before it got cold so now I'm waiting for it to warm up before I order some. Freezing will kill all the enzymes.

It's not for sterile environments.

Guys - Had the type of day that makes a person want to say fuck DWC forever. 10 gallons of soup on the tent floor, water spraying from air pumps, dried out water pumps, control alarms firing off all over the place... the works. But at least it was during lights off period. F%#*.

While I’m about as back to normal and stable as I can be right now, that was a MAJOR pain in the ass and terrible timing. This is my first DWC grow and the second time I’ve had water drain from res all over my floor, and I’m about there.

A lot I like about DWC, but large volumes of water just have the propensity to create such a god damn mess - not to mention, im sure the stress to plant was probably high. Too late to get creative with a dif design for this grow, but if I do anothe RDWC I’m really going to have to come up with a fully redundant fail proof loop system so water is always ending up in SOME bucket if shit goes bump in the night.
