Good Morning all @ . I'm a Saffa all my life, lived in Vergennes,V.T. at a summer resort on Lake Champlain for bout 5 years and ski resorts during the winter, loved my time there, the sights, the places, the people I met OH WOW, but V.T. stole my heart cause of Autum colors. Been a hectic boozer since my teens, been sober for 1 year 2w now. Diagnosed with degenerative disc disease in my lower spine and the start of oysters that area too. Had 1st back op Nov 2014, started working (chicken farmer ) June 2015 by dec 2015 started getting really sore again so went for check up and doc said it was inflammation from scar tissue. My pharmaceutical intake grew ridiculous then I was prescribed OxyContin 40mg or 2 dependent on pain. Mood swings, anger and depression all this time, no thanks. Left the farm in my brothers hands due to no manual labor and carried on with my passion which is cooking for people. Busy building a food trailer "10 piece cutlery " but she is now on hold....

The Jerkey Box reference is cause it's similiar to a diy biltong/jerky box dryer.

Strain: Og Kush - Dinafem - 2mnths and7 days
Haze 2.0 -Dinafem - not planted yet
DP bag seed - no info
DFID ( da f..x I do ) +- 3 mnths I think. For trial and error.

Original Box. 420mm by 520mm by 1m h. Went in my cupboard due to stealth reasons.
Fan: 41 CFm comp fan. Digital timer.
4 - 23 w actual.
using for og at moment.
Soil- 3 part organic compost ( nothing special )
2 part worm castings.
1 part perlite.

New Box completed today. Upper compartment -veg/flower and lower compartment- veg only 620mm high.
1.2m wide, 2m high and 600mm deep. 0.86ft square total. Analogue timer
Fans: 3 comp 91 CFm and 1 comp CFm 119 and 24 inch oscillating fan and a big stationary fan for open door flow. Really hot here.
Veg lights: 6 23w actual, space for 10 total and 2 fans down there.
Flower lights: 2 100w led lamps actual 6400k. Cool white
1 85w CFL actual 6400k. Cool white.
4 50w actual 2800k. Warm white.
Soil as above.

Only have the 85w and 2 50w in at moment to figure out temps.

Tent arriving in cpl weeks.

1 400w magnetic ballast
1 birding reflector small
1 HPS bulb
1 Extractor fan 100mm- 175m-3/h
1 ducting 102mm-10m
1 Carbon Filter 100 times 200mm/500mm/3/h
1 analogue timer.

Nutrients:

Seagro- seaweed/ fish emulsion.
Nitrosol- blood/bonemeal emulsion.
Biobizz grow and bloom.

Soil ammendmants to make own soil( haven't started yet )
Dolomite lime
Powdered kelp meal
Rock phosphate
Turbo grow rock dust
Crustacean meal, shrimps in the freezer... not a fishy fan, but will take 1 for the girls...

Also mycoroot, pH pen and hygrometer.

I know my lights ain't the greatest but I'm learning hence the tent as I'd like to have a perpetual going as I'm catering for family members as well.
My brother- chronic stress and arthritis.
Sister in law - Crohns Disease.

Looking to do Led one day as you can't grow without trying out an led...
And saving up for a magical butter machine...

So it's a sad day....

Just saw my confi cheese is finished and only getting re-supply's on Saturday. Have some skanky street skunk which to be fair is pretty ok considering how many damn seeds are in there. So obviously we can post pics of our plants, am I allowed to post pics of my skanky skunk...??? Hasn't been cured properly, really earthy and chlorophyll burn in the throat. But a nice pleasant heady buzz, then medium couch lock sets in and will power needed to accomplish projects but wears off after bout 2 hours....

So both boxes are on 18-6 -2am - 8pm as I feel I can control temps better while awake, but want to flip DFID once I've put on new inner light proof door then will flip undecided yet might go another 2 weeks let the arms stretch a bit more I think..

So I mentioned little OG has some serious node spacing going on, tried to see what's going on in there but can't even get my fingers in there, so I raised the light by +- 10cm so she can stretch a bit...?????

The DP bag seed are showing tips of the new 3rd true set.

When I travel, I upload from camera to an iPad to post pictures in forums - I did a lot of animal pics from driving Kruger etc. The biggest problem is editing them so you can post a decent pic. You have to crop, lighten/darken etc & resize the image. I have always found that if you let forum software resize it, you often get added blur.

Hello kind sir, it's a 2 hour time difference, I lived in Cambridge U.K for 10 yrs. I managed a branch of cafe neros opposite kings college chapel...... the sun rises what a sight for sore eyes on a winters morning.....

1st 3 are DFID, pulled her tops even, going to let the arms go now. 6-8cm in length. 8cm the longest.

2nd. Little OG from the top and below, really tight noding at the moment, can't get in there yet..

3rd. Lst on OG branches, 3 in total for clones so far, waiting on the rest to play catch up, and I was brutal with her to be honest.

The 4 DP bag seed, missing a close up of 1 girl..

So not so lazy day, finished a pallet planter, just a rough 1 to see what it will look like. Have a veg tunnel 14ft by 50ft which has to be erected still, would like to go totally organic with worm garden, and living soil in the planters. Want to move away from the usual veg...

Went for a walk with some skanky skunk and was wondering how long from flip/pistils DFID will take as I know nothing about her apart from since seed she took longer to germinate paper towel method and overall longer growth time compared to little OG. So I figured I would put my Haze 2.0. into a pot.

10 inch pot.
3 part compost
2 part worm castings
1 part perlite

Watered with 2 ltr of water and let stand for 5 hours today ( already figured I was going to do it today so got things ready, then decided not too, then did) once everything had settled and checked the mix was damp not wet I popped Hazey into the pot and covered with cling film.

Since she is a auto, what I've read and understood is the general consensus is to leave alone but I would like to apply some light LST as I would like to maximize what opportunities I can with her.

My brother has 2 on the go, and he's letting them go natural, I've only seen them recently and they are in flower after a month with a cpl side branches...

I need to go look up exactly what I've let myself into and report back....

So it's a bit of an a hey start to the day, stiff and sore but what a lovely morning, overcast and 60% of rain, no heat in sight...... Girls are going to throw a party today.....

Build and make inner flower chamber door...
Never enjoyed being hands on before, unless it was something that interested me before - my meds taught me woodwork- funny really isn't it.... and electrical.... hence I love cooking so much

Anyway was wondering what else to do today, figured since I have 3 girls and 4 reg seeds, I'm going to select the nicest of my skanky skunk seeds and put them to bed between some luxurious paper sheet towels.
