The wet weight thing was a little dig at emilya. Who i believe is the math genius who "sees" math problems in 3d and has a forumla for guessing dry weight based on wet weight.
If i misremember that and its one of the other lady growers im sorry.

Nope, it wasn't a dig at another member. I just don't uderstand how you can calculate a wet weight into a dry weight. The parameters would have to be the same everytime. The rule of thumb is you get 25% back off the wet weight. That's depressing if I weigh 800g when it's wet and I only get 200g back. It's like looking at my pay cheque.

Yes we try and keep it light around here... or at least this little part of the woods.

No i was talking about my joke. And I wish my memory were better. But one of the grower ladies is a magnificently talented woman outside the grow room. Maybe it was virgin ground? Or maybe my stoner brain is running several journals together.
I know one of our members is deaf and reads lips, holds some kind of job in a supervisory role.
Another or possibly th3 same lady is a math genius who can visualise complex problems in her head and literally "sees" math and has a formula for calculating weight. I am with you, in thag its just educated guesswork without dropping dry bud on a scale.

And to clarify when I say dig. I mean joking friendly ribbing. Because I dont believe a formula can tell you dry weight based on wet weight I joke about it.

I didn't know that humus itself was a buffering agent. I thought soil manufacturers add lime to their humus mixes as well.
