Gotcha. I have both. My plant that's in-ground will be ok? The soil is much warmer right?
I would cover the soil of the in-ground one with plastic at night to keep the heat in as best as you can. And remember that the roots will be spread out pretty wide.

Farther than you might think. Well beyond the width of what you might have used for a container for the same plant. Plastic's cheap, cannabis is valuable.

Looks good other than the nibbles! I was thinking more bush-sized. I'd slit a black plastic garbage bag and tack half down on either side at night.

Yeah she didn't start flowering u til late for some reason. The flower on her looks amazing. Purple leaves and flower, mmmmm
Outside plants start showing flowers from mid-July to mid-August depending on the variety.

So with the picture of the trikes showing their progression, mine are milky white. And in the pic referenced in this post it says that's the energetic high, and that's what I want. So.......

But there are still longer white pistils on the bud. And the tips of them look brown like they are dead. Not sure if this is good or bad.
Are you looking at the calyx trichomes or the sugar leaf trichomes? Calyx trichs are the ones we use to judge ripeness.
Also I would wait until you see a little bit of amber and then take a small bud to quick dry and test. Outside plants ripen at different rates than those grown in tents, so we tend to harvest later.

@Teddy Edwards is this something to move to grow journals or FAQs?
I can't see any trichomes in that pic, but based on the color of the pistils I would think you have at least 2 weeks.

This is one of the tops. Hard to get a pic with phone using jewelers loupe.
Still hard to tell from the pic, but like I said...based on the pistils alone you have loads more time before harvest. It would need to be a very short-flowering variety to be ready for harvest in mid-September.
