THsea's Intermission Grow

Aloha! This is my third-ish grow, I've got plants in all stages of growth... Not much has changed in my methods, but why don't we go over them?

I vegetate indoors, and flower in nature. I live in the tropics so flower time is ALL the time

My tent size? Its about 32"x36" I think... Height is adjustable as its two shelves that are... Adjustable!
Walls are real panda, so you know its good.

Lights LED's. Only using one for now, forgot its wattage... Like 200 something. Or thats its power draw. I'm no light expert (or expert of any kind). Oh, and the sun!

What kind of pots do you use?! Good question, a mix... Smart Pots in Veg, and in Flower some... But I really like to use the Airpots for flower.

Soil?! Black Gold Organic!

Nutes?! OC+ is my main nutrient. The only things I mix in water are... Superthrive (that is used for seedlings, vegetative growth, and for the first week outdoors)... CalMag Plus (which is rarely ever needed or used)... Liquid Kelp Extract and Molasses, which are both used @ ~2 tablespoons per gallon for the entire growth of the plant. Well, I back off the kelp the last few weeks... But tend to keep up with the Molasses.

Water infos?! Tap, but I've got really great tap water... Even for Hawaii. I've been told I can run hydroponics off my tap. So... We don't do a lot of PPM checks or Ph checks... like...ever.

Thank you, good sir! I haven't been able to find many AKxY reviews... I figured it was nothing to write home about, but hey... I'll let her get nice and amber. The Hawaiian Snow is certainly the star of this grow..

Now to the sad news... A wave of rains hit, and bud rot and mold over took my lovely 2046...
I was already a bit under the weather so to speak... That was a big tipping point though.. I really think a "light" estimate for her yield would have been a quarter pound.

The best of last grow was Exodus Cheese #1... And it was still so-so... Comfortable smoke, but not the potency I'm used to. Lots of purple

We're in the dry season here now... I've got 'til November to run these girls... Then I'll be doing strains that are much hardier.

cool, 7/10 aint bad! Yup, sunny days!

I love Hazes, so next year Ill either run another 2046... Or maybe Purple Haze.

Hey guys, thought I'd give some information about these plants I'm running... Or at least what I've kept track of.

The AKxY was put in 12/12 on May 7th... I FIM'ed the Wild Thailand and Trainwreck on the same day, that was May 15th.. The Hawaiian Snow's first day of 12/12 was May 16th... Wild Thailand started 12/12 May 27th.

On May 20th I started germination of my "freebies" from a seed order... These were the Green Poison Automatic, Cream Caramel Automatic, and OG Kush...CCA was above ground on the 24th, OG Kush on the 26th, and GPA was above ground on the 27th.

I'll be putting both auto's in 12/12 on Friday (now were talking about June of course!).. Making room for the Dinachem x 3!!! Very exciting... I'll start germinating those on the 6th.

The Trainwreck was repotted from a .5 gallon Airpot to a 5 gallon Smart Pot last month on the 28th... I like to wait a good week or more before throwing them in 12/12... I was intending to give her a full two weeks (which would be the 11th of this month)... But I think I'm going to go ahead and throw her in with the Autos...

If any of you saw in the last journal about the AKxY cutting... I tossed her. Just not a vigorous enough plant... It was good to get the cutting practice though. I'll be taking cuttings of all three Dinachem's... Hoping for a "winner" that is worth keeping...

The plans for the OG Kush are to FIM it early on... She is in a 2 gallon Smart Pot, I'll put her into a 5 gallon Smart Pot on the 24th of this month if she is growing on schedule and putting her in 12/12 the first of July.

Lots of plants... Lots of different starting times... Using a calendar to keep track of it all.

I know about being able to handle a lot of pain but then that extreme pain comes along and is almost unbearable. So good luck to you little brother , I hope that you are on the write track with your tinctures. It sounds like you are way to young to be putting up with shit like this.
I asked OMM about cheese strains (I have 2 growing now) and he directed me to your last journal, I skimmed through the last 10 pages
and it sounds like you weren't very impressed with the cheese's.
I have had experience with the Hawaiian Snow .....Wow ...strap yourself in buddy !! I'll give a better report later!
There are so many good journals that I can't keep up with all but I will be popping in from time to time to see how you are doing!

Oh my, the Chemmy's sound great to me! Can't find much on them, but they are a cross of solid plants... From a solid seed breeder! Kind of a new strain, but I'm happy to run her. The one disappointment (but not really) was I thought they were a direct cross of Chemdawg x Stardawg (aka Guava Chem)... But its a cross, then back-crossed to the Chemdawg again... Fine with me, they say they are going for a Chemdawg with renewed vigor... I'd prefer a chance to get a Chem and Guava Chem pheno personally!

Hey man, thanks for stopping by! And the kind words, of course! You know, I have 'minor' pain issues that are consistent more than severe pain now days... I'm really looking for a plant to give me crazy munchies and nausea relief. I really think it will have to do with how I process... OMM knows my end game : a processed hashish... It has been the best medicine I've ever tried... If your wondering what this was.. It is known as Afghani Black.

The Cheese plants are okay, a interesting pheno of Skunk.. But along with most Skunk varieties they are "good" but not amazing... I my personally wrong opinion of course... They grow lovely, nice structure, decent yields, and great smell... But gram/gram on potency? You can find better. Comfortable high though, very mellow and lasts well... Just seems like a low ceiling. If you have a very moist environment it can mold. Not to long on the flowering either. IDK, its worth a grow. Maybe yours will be great! OMM has grown awesome Skunks.... I think there are good pheno's or examples of nearly every strain.

I'd love to hear your review of the Hawaiian Snow! PropaGator has said good things, and OMM mentioned someone else telling him it was really good... I like this! Its really starting to bud, people are chiming in with good reviews... And it looks like she will give great yields!
