Timer

Hello: i came home yesterday and my flouresent lights were out. I have a digital timer with a battey inside that i thought kept the programming when the power went out or another problem. I am not sure what happened but the lights were off and the programing erased. What is a good timer, i am swtiching the seedling over to a 1000 watt light soon and i do not want any problems? Any advice on timers will be appreciated. thank you

I use a Brinks digital timer from walmart.

you will want a timer that will support 1000 watts, or you're going to kill it..

i dont think they make digital ones that big ( the digital one w/ battery backup that i have supports no more than 500 watts)

hardware stores should have a heavy duty timer, or possibly flower shops/hydro stores.

like i said, just make sure you know what its rated for.
