So here I am. I've been reading these grow journals for about a week now and decided to throw mine up here and see what kind of feedback I can get.

I'll get straight to the point here. I am exactly 4 weeks into my first grow. Technically its my second, but the first one had to be harvest way too early and it was only one plant. Plus is was almost 10 years ago.

I'm currently on week 4, but I'll rewind to the beginning.

11/22/09
The seeds that I have are The Green House Seed company and I have began to germinate. I have The Church, Arjan's Strawberry Haze, Lemon Skunk, Great White Shark and Hawaiian Snow. I have 5 Free PPP seeds, that I found out were from Nirvana Seed bank.

11-22-098.jpg

I put each strain in its own cup and labeled the cups. I filled the cups with tap water with a PH around 5.5 and let them soak for about 24 hours.

11-22-098-1.jpg

11-22-098-2.jpg

11/23/09
Some seeds had already began to crack. I then transferred them with tweezers to a wet paper towel, that was soaked with around 5.5 PH tap water. I put them in a rooting dome that I bought from Lowes for about $5. I then placed them in my closet above a portable heater. Humidity was between 80-100%. Temperature was around 85 degrees.

11-22-098-3.jpg

11-22-098-4.jpg

11/24/09

Most of the seeds had cracked open and others had a tap root coming out of them. Seeds were then transferred with tweeters over to 1 inch rock-wool cubes. The rock-wool cubes were soaked with around 5.5 PH tap water that included an 8th of the recommended seedling nutes added.

Nutes use are General Hydroponics Flora Series. FloraGrow, FloraMicro and FloraBloom.

11-22-098-5.jpg

11-22-098-6.jpg

11-22-098-7.jpg

I put the rock-wool cubes back into the rooting dome and placed them back into the closet. RH @ 80-100%, Temps 85-90 degrees.

11-22-098-8.jpg

11/26/09
Some of the seeds had sprouted. The ones that did were moved into Dixie cups that I had cut the bottoms from.

11-22-098-9.jpg

After that I placed them under 10 32 watt CFL lights that I put together myself.

11-22-098-10.jpg

11/27/09
The taproot on a few of the seedlings began to come out of the bottom of the rock-wool cubes, so I began transplanting them into 4" rock-wool cubes.

11-22-098-13.jpg

11/28/09
Today I went to a local collective to check it out and ended up picking up a clone of OG Kush. I've hear this strain can be hard to get your hands on and that there are almost no seeds available because of lacking male plants to pollinate with. So I didnt pass the opportunity up. I got a nicely rooted clone with 2 tops on it.

All seedlings had now been placed into 4" cubes.

Here's a shot of the OG Kush clone that I picked up. Obviously a female. You can see the hairs.
11-22-098-14.jpg

Here's a group picture of them all transferred into the 4" cubes.
11-22-098-15.jpg

.... and here they are soaking up some lumens...

11-22-098-16.jpg

12/3/09
About 5 Days later (give or take a couple days) and everyone is looking good. I'm seeing new growth on the clone and the seedlings are begin to grow another set of leaves. I've been letting the cube dry out almost complete before watering them again. I've been keeping the PH of the tap water around 5.5. I'm using the liquid PH tester, so I'm not right on, but around there. I am also adding half strength, seedling stage General Hydroponic nutes. All 3 of the Flora series.

11-22-098-17.jpg

11-22-098-18.jpg

12/5/09
2 Days later and everything still looking good. Yesterday one of my Church's decided to sprout. I was pretty excited about that. She's sitting in the 1 inch cube on the side, so I can get her closer to the light.

11-22-098-19.jpg

11-22-098-20.jpg

12/7/09
2 Days Later. Plants are growing great. No signs of deficiencies and the roots from the OG Kush clone have already worked there way through the 4 inch cube. Along with a couple of the other plants. So its about time to get these girls (hopefully) on a feeding system.

12/8/09
2 More Days Later. Okay, here's when my inexperience comes into play and the beginning of my plants heath gets a little wobbly.

Here's the setup:

Drip Feeder Hydroponics
30 Gallon Tote, filled up with 10 gallons of filtered tap water that my refrigerator filtered.
General Hydroponics Flora Series Nutes. Amount: Mild Growth. So we're talking 1 tsp of each of the 3, per gallon.
1 Flat Under-Bed Tote to put the plants in
1 strong submergable water pump
1 Dual fram air pump
2 air stones. One 12 inch long and the other is a 5 inch cylinder.
1 8 port dripper
8 drip nossles
some hoses and fittings and thats about it.

Nute Strength: Mild Growth, General Hydroponics Flora Series
Temp: 72-78 Degrees
RH: 25-50%
Light: 1-4 inches away from 10 32 watt CFL lights that are cool to the touch
PH: 5.5-5.8
PPM: Unknown due to tap water. GH's website say PPM for this nute level is 378 ppm, plus water the water is.
Light Cycle: 24 hours/constant

Picture time.....

11-22-098-24.jpg

11-22-098-25.jpg

RH 48%. Temp 72 Degrees. I think thats pretty darn good.
11-22-098-26.jpg

Here's the reservoir, filled to 10 gallons.

12/9/09
One day later and here's where the problems begin.
If anyone can tell me what this is, please let me know. The only thing thats changed is the nutes, so its something there. I mixed exactly according to the General Hydroponics instructions on the bottle for the Mild growth strength. The only thing I can think of, is the plants dont like my filtered refrigerator water.

Nute Strength: Mild Growth, General Hydroponics Flora Series
Temp: 72-78 Degrees
RH: 25-50%
Light: 1-4 inches away from 10 32 watt CFL lights that are cool to the touch
PH: 5.5-5.8
PPM: Unknown due to tap water. GH's website say PPM for this nute level is 378 ppm, plus whatever the water is.
Light Cycle: 24 hours/constant

This is one of my PPP's. I looked around the internet and all I can find is things saying this is a Magnesium (Mg) deficiency. Im not sure how that can be if I mixed the nutes correctly, unless maybe my refrigerator water is nastier then hell and locked it out some how.
11-22-098-31.jpg

Here's the same thing on my Lemon Skunk plant
11-22-098-32.jpg

.... and here's a couple more shots of it and then the entire grow together. If anyone can tell me what this is and how to prevent it in the future, that would be great. I got epsom salt for the Mg. More on that later though.
11-22-098-33.jpg

11-22-098-34.jpg

I added my hand here to give an idea to the exact size.

11-22-098-36.jpg

11-22-098-37.jpg

11-22-098-38.jpg

12/10/09
Okay... I dont know what I read, but somehow I came up with the idea that if I added more GH FloraGrow to my nutes, it would fix the problem. I dont remember how I came to that solution, but I did and ended up adding 9 tsp's of FloraGrow to my res. Thats turns out to be a little less than one tsp per gallon. Later that day, nothing got worse, and it looked to have maybe corrected the issue.

Here's the specs, then pictures.

Nute Strength: Mild Growth, GH Flora Series + an extra tsp per gallon.
Temp: 70-78 Degrees
RH: 20-50%
Light: 1-4 inches away from 10 32 watt CFL lights that are cool to the touch
PH: 5.7
PPM: 498 plus whatever my filtered refrigerator water is. Could be high. Doesnt taste very great.
Light Cycle: 24 hours/constant

11-22-098-40.jpg

11-22-098-41.jpg

I seriously need some help with this plant. Its one of my PPP's. Its so wrinkly and dry feeling. Like an old persons skin. I have no idea why its like this. Any help, suggestions, anything.. would be really appreciated.

The roots are looking decent...
11-22-098-47.jpg

12/11/09
Nute Strength: Mild Growth, GH Flora Series + an extra tsp per gallon.
Temp: 79 Degrees
RH: 32%
Light: 1-4 inches away from 10 32 watt CFL lights that are cool to the touch
PH: 5.7
PPM: 498 plus whatever my filtered refrigerator water is. Could be high. Doesnt taste very great.
Light Cycle: 24 hours/constant

Notes: Tip Burn on OG Kush with downward curling tips. Downward curling tips on PPP. Trying to raise humididty, which is thought to maybe be the cause of Potassium deficiency.

12/12/09
Nute Strength: Vegative Growth, GH Flora Series
Temp: 71 Degrees
RH: 52%
Light: 1-4 inches away from 10 32 watt CFL lights that are cool to the touch
PH: 5.6
PPM: About 764. Now using filtered Reverse Osmosis water.
Light Cycle: 24 hours/constant

Notes: Possible deficiency cause, nutes too low/weak. Drained res. Added pure, reverse osmosis water. Flushed for a few hours with pure water. Filled res with Reg strength nutes 3-2-1 tsp per gallon. Church showing deformities. No further signs of deficiencies after res change. PH down was added to bring PH to 5.6.

12/13/09
Nute Strength: Vegative Growth, GH Flora Series
Temp: 77 Degrees
RH: 41%
Light: 1-4 inches away from 10 32 watt CFL lights that are cool to the touch
PH: 5.9
PPM: About 764. Now using filtered Reverse Osmosis water.
Light Cycle: 24 hours/constant

Notes: PH down added to bring PH to 5.5

Nute Strength: Vegative Growth, GH Flora Series
Temp: 72 Degrees
RH: 49%
Light: 1-4 inches away from 10 32 watt CFL lights that are cool to the touch
PH: 5.8
PPM: About 764. Now using filtered Reverse Osmosis water.
Light Cycle: 24 hours/constant

Notes: Added Hydrotron GrowRocks to give expanding roots a place to stay wet. PPP showing discoloration. Maybe from PH being off. I just got calibration fluid and found out that my meter has been off by .4 - .5 points. Meter was calibrated. Folar fed plants with FloraBlend. 3 new seedlings sprouted. Unknown Mexican strain.

12/15/09
Nute Strength: Vegative Growth, GH Flora Series
Temp: 73 Degrees
RH: 35%
Light: 1,000 Watt Metal Halide Light. 1.5 ft from plant tops. Air cooled hood.
PH: 5.7
PPM: About 764. Now using filtered Reverse Osmosis water.
Light Cycle: 24 hours/constant

Notes: Plants showing small signs of sclerosis (I believe thats what its called. Small yellowish brown spots). Found that PH meter was still of by .1. No big deal. Yellowish green throughout garden, except for Great White Shark. Just introduced humidifier.

12/16/09
Nute Strength: Vegative Growth, GH Flora Series
Temp: 89 Degrees
RH: 25%
Light: 1,000 Watt Metal Halide Light. 1.5 ft from plant tops. Air cooled hood.
PH: 5.8
PPM: About 764. Now using filtered Reverse Osmosis water.
Light Cycle: 24 hours/constant

Notes: Plants all looking unhealthy. Yellow spots, discoloration on leaves. Heat went up to 93 degrees. Light was moved up to 2 ft from plant tops to reduce heat. Turned up fan speed. Heat dropped to 81 degrees. Plants are showing no signs of improvement. Res was drained and fresh tap water from the sink was added to flush system. Flushed over night running non-stop. Church started showing signs of new, healthy growth. Possible diagnosis was determined to be over fertilization.

Nute Strength: GH Flora Series. 62.5 ml Grow, 37.5 ml Micro, 12.5 ml Bloom, 5 ml Floralicious Plus, 50 ml FloraBlend for entire 10 Gal Res.
Temp: 77 Degrees
RH: 33%
Light: 1,000 Watt Metal Halide Light. 1.5 ft from plant tops. Air cooled hood.
PH: 5.7
PPM: About 540. Now using filtered Reverse Osmosis water.
Light Cycle: 18/6

Notes: Flushed with sink tap water and Changed out with 540 ppm GH nutes. Changed plants to 18/6 light cycle. Plants are no longer drooping. Got timers tonight. Set Light, Exhaust fan and humidifier to 18/6 cycle. On @ 6am, off @ 10pm. Nutes set to drip 4 times per day, 30 minutes each time.

Okay.... So after lowering the nutes to around 540 ppm, cutting the light cycle to 18/6 and putting the dripper on a timer, the plants began to show positive signs. I'm still having a huge problem with one of my PPP's having wrinkly leaves. Real wrinkly, and other plants are showing signs of becoming the same way. Here's the pics...

PH: 6.0
PPM: About 540. Now using filtered Reverse Osmosis water.
Light Cycle: 18/6

Notes: Moved light up about 6 inches to lower heat. 81 degrees to 77 for 6 inch move. Plants are sticking straight out instead of drooping. Leaf tips are curling under. Other than that, plants are looking a lot better. Added PH down to 5.8 in the am. Tied down OG Kush to allow other branches to grow. Cut off dead foliage. Mexican seedlings and Church was move under a different light. 4 tube, T8 Florecent. 2 white, 2 red. I added an extra drip cycle to the other plants. Now 5 times per day for 30 minutes each drip cycle.

Here's my exhaust fan. Its about an 800 CFM fan. I dont know how many cubic feet my garage is, but it works pretty good. I go into my garage and it feels like Im outside.
11-22-098-72.jpg

Here's the OG Kush. I tied down the 2 tops so it doesnt grow too high past the rest of them and to get it bushier. It doesnt look like its doing too bad other than some curled tips.

Tims First Hydro Grow- TONS OF PICS!! -Need Help OG Kush, Lm Skunk, GWS, Church,

TODAY!! Finally got caught up. I spent hours writing this damn this just to get to this point. Hopefully I'll get some good help. Reading other peoples journals showed some great support.

So here we go. Oh.. and if you havent noticed, I like taking pictures. I have a cool SLR camera. Anyway, here it is

12/19/09
Nute Strength: GH Flora Series. 62.5 ml Grow, 37.5 ml Micro, 12.5 ml Bloom, 5 ml Floralicious Plus, 50 ml FloraBlend for entire 10 Gal Res.
Temp: 78 Degrees
RH: 37%
Light: 1,000 Watt Metal Halide Light. 1.5 ft from plant tops. Air cooled hood.
PH: 6.0
PPM: About 540. Now using filtered Reverse Osmosis water.
Light Cycle: 18/6

Notes: Added PH down in the am dropping it to 5.7. Topped off res with have fresh, half tap water. It took about a gallon and a half. Plants are looking like there getting better, but can still use improvement. Slight leaf discoloration. Greenish yellow color in certain areas, but it may be left over from the old deficiency. In the pm, PH went back up to 6.0. Used PH down to 5.8. Plants look to be a lot more stable. Curled leaves and wilting/wrinkles leaves seem to be the only issue. Plant growth looks fine, but the wrinkles look like they may be spreading to the Great White Shark. Oh and we forgot to water the seedlings and ended up losing a Mexico strain seedling. No big deal.

and for the last of my pictures for the night....

Here's the seedling that fried overnight. Poor little girl (maybe guy)

11-22-098-82.jpg

Great White Shark. This is a strong strain. Whatever has effected all of the other plants has not even phased this one. No spots or dead foliage at all. The tips are starting to curl under and it looks like it might be starting to get wrinkly at the top, but other than that, its doing good.
11-22-098-83.jpg

Here's a side view of the Great White Shark. Here you can see the tips curling a little. Not much like the others, but a little.
11-22-098-84.jpg

Here's my Lemon Skunk. This one seems to be doing a whole lot better. Leaves are straight out instead of drooping how they were. The plant is looking more green, when before it was a yellowish color. I still dont think its perfectly healthy though.

And here's a shot of them all together.
11-22-098-87.jpg

Here are my nutes. And I only use that green meter for the lumen sensor that it has on it. Nothing else. Too inaccurate. I mist my plants with the Seltzer water. I could be wrong but I read that its great for it and gives off CO2.
11-22-098-88.jpg

Here's my Church. I moved it under 4, 4ft Florescent tubes. 2 white, 2 blue. It seems to be doing much better under these lights than my 1,000 watt MH.
11-22-098-89.jpg

and my last picture. The Mexico strains under the florescent T8 tubes. Doing decent.
11-22-098-90.jpg

And thats about it. I hope that someone can help me with my wrinkle and tip curl issue. I love growing and read everything I can and watch all the videos that I can find. I thought I'd get growing and kick some a55, but I hit a few issues. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks alot to everyone reading.

Re: Tims First Hydro Grow- TONS OF PICS!! -Need Help OG Kush, Lm Skunk, GWS, Church,

Ive never really worked with rockwool but do know it has a great lowering effect on pH. So with you input pH being anywhere from 5.5 to 6.0 you could still have an end result below 5.5 causing lockout.

I use GH Flora series and follow their calculater to a T pretty much. Shoot for ~400 ppm for seedlings. Move up to 800-1000 after a couple full nodes grow.

Rockwool always seem so finicky. I try to stay away from things that would make me chase my tail around.

Re: Tims First Hydro Grow- TONS OF PICS!! -Need Help OG Kush, Lm Skunk, GWS, Church,

Thanks a lot for the help. My picture are actually mixed up right now. So what it says above the pic, probably isnt describing what is below it. I need to fix that. Just wanted to throw that out there.

As for your comment, I always test the run off too and its always the same as the reservoir, unless I've just added PH up or down to the res. So will the PH in the rock-wool still be lower then the actual reservoir, even though the run off is the same PH??

I thought I was doing everything by the book here and didnt expect anything to go wrong, but man was I wrong. I guess no matter how many instructional videos you watch or books you read, nothing beats experience. I've watched them all too. All Jorge Cervantes' videos, All SeeMoreBuds Volumes, all High Times Ready-Set-Grow volumes, all Sea Of Green Volumes, I Grow Chronic... I'm talkin ALL OF THEM. I do that and read religiously, but I still cant figure these plants out.

I will raise the PH some. I read that 5.7 - 5.8 is ideal to promote nute uptake. Where would you recommend my PH to be at with my system??

Re: Tims First Hydro Grow- TONS OF PICS!! -Need Help OG Kush, Lm Skunk, GWS, Church,

I'll also be moving to 5 gal buckets, filled with hydrotron rocks pretty soon. I'm in the process of making an Ebb & Flo system with 12-24 5 gallon buckets. I didnt want to spend almost a grand buying a complete system, so I'm making it myself with $2 Home Depot 5 gal buckets, an 80 gal trashcan, a few timers and some hoses and fittings. That will be for my flowering plants. I need to get that done soon.

Im expecting only a couple more weeks before my plants are all grown up and need to go into flowering. I have lemon Skunk which I believe is a Sativa dominant plant and my ceiling is only about 8-9 feet high. So with them being a foot off the ground, one foot of light and a two feet distance between the light and the plant tops, I'm limited to about 4-5 foot high plants.

I also plan to turn my entire garage into 3 separate grow areas, for each stage. I'll spare a small area for my wife and her high tech washer and dryer. lol. The rest will belong to the plants. Stay tuned for that. I take lots of pics.

Re: Tims First Hydro Grow- TONS OF PICS!! -Need Help OG Kush, Lm Skunk, GWS, Church,

Thanks a lot Sky Rocket. I try to write everything down and take lots of pictures in case I have questions and need to go back and figure something out.

But I'm having issues with one of my PPP plants. I'm not sure why only this plant is like this. My PPP's in general havent been too tolerant to my constant poking and changing crap around. The others arnt bad at all.

I'm having issues with this one. I dont know why its like this. The leaves feel dry, are wrinkled like crazy and the tips are curled under. I really dont think its just the strain. I have to be doing something wrong here. Any suggestions would be great.

Here's where Im at.

Nute Strength: GH Flora Series. 62.5 ml Grow, 37.5 ml Micro, 12.5 ml Bloom, 5 ml Floralicious Plus, 50 ml FloraBlend for entire 10 Gal Res.
Temp: Always around 78 Degrees
Reservoir: 10 Gallons
RH: Usually around 35%
Light: 1,000 Watt Metal Halide Light. 2 ft from plant tops. Air cooled hood.
PH: Usually around 5.8
PPM: About 540 ppm. Using Filtered Reveres Osmosis water
Light Cycle: 18/6
Grow Area: Two car garage. Havent takin measurements yet.
Ventilation: 780 CFM Inline Fan connected to 10" ducting. Plus Osilating Fan
System: Hydroponics Recirculating Drip

Re: Tims First Hydro Grow- TONS OF PICS!! -Need Help OG Kush, Lm Skunk, GWS, Church,

Unfamiliar with hydro and it's damages but curious to see the cause and cure. I'll be checkin in. The other plants look good by the way.:peace:

Re: Tims First Hydro Grow- TONS OF PICS!! -Need Help OG Kush, Lm Skunk, GWS, Church,

I'm doing a soil grow, so have no experience with rockwool, etc, but it seems as if the damage is only to the lowest leaves, and the rest looks good. Always seems as if the lowest leaves take a beating while getting the rest of the plant established - they have in my grow, anyway.

Yeah. The lower leaves got a little messed up a couple weeks ago. I had a timer go out, so my plants didnt get feed for a while and it caused some damage.

The dry, wrinkledness is throughout the entire plant though. It looks like it may be spreading to my Great White Shark too. I hope not. I think Im going to bump up my feeding schedule to me a little more frequent and see if that changes anything.

Re: Tims First Hydro Grow- TONS OF PICS!! -Need Help OG Kush, Lm Skunk, GWS, Church,

Hay MMRC Grower, Nice grow you have started. I would think since most of your plants are rocking and rolling and are only having issues with a few, its the difference in strain and what and when they can handle certain amounts of nutes. Your are getting pretty good growth on all your plants so I think If you keep up what you are doing it is going to work itself out. Sometime you just have to get through the seedling stage and everything turns out fine. Just a thought. Love the start of your journal and good luck with the rest. + rep.

On a side note I think we are neighbors, well not really neighbors but close enough and am curious what collective you got you clones from....If you don't mind of course. Again great job and look forward to watching it all come together..

Well I just picked up one clone from this place...

Beaumont Patients Collective Association (BPCA) 1140 Beaumont Avenue Unit E Beaumont, CA 92223
Phone: (951) 797-0927

Its about a half hour away from me, but I was in the neighborhood at the time so thought I'd stop by and check it out. They had OG Kush there, which I could be wrong, but I hear that it's difficult to get your hands on that strain if its pure and not crossed with another different strain of Kush. Also heard that there's close to no seeds available out there either. So I couldnt pass it by.

I recently got my state ID card to grow for my wife's disabled uncle. Then I started talking to friends and family and began hearing about all of these people that had ID cards too. Everyone complained about having to drive all the way to Los Angeles to get there meds, so I did a little research and found out that I could start a collective. There's a few steps you have to take, but for the most part its pretty simple. San Bernardino county keeps pushing back dates that there supposed to be creating zoning laws for collectives and Co-ops in the county, but so far they havent. So legally, since you cant get a zoning permit and you need a zoning permit to operate a business in this county, legally, there really isnt any collectives or co-ops willing to take the chance. But technically, a collective isnt really a business. Its more of a group of people that come together and pretty much share weed. Which is why you buying weed at these places is called a donation amount and not an actual purchase price.

Anyway... long story short. I'm opening one here in the next few months. I'm going to have what I grow, on top of what I get from other local growers as well. Its going to be a delivery service and I go to the customer. When you dont have customers coming to your business, the zoning laws almost go completely out the window. There still there, but not strict at all.

So stay tuned and thanks for the positive feedback.

Re: Tims First Hydro Grow- TONS OF PICS!! -Need Help OG Kush, Lm Skunk, GWS, Church,

Okay. Here's todays update.

I changed a few things around. Nothing too big, but I added a homemade CO2 generator that is actually working. It doesnt smell pretty, but I definately know that its working. I also changed my drip cycle. It was set to drip once every 4 hours for 30 minutes at a time. I now have it set to drip every 2 hours for 30 minutes at a time. Off during night cycle.

I'm still working to get my humidity up. I want to be between 60-80% but since I'm growing in a large area, Im having a hard time getting my humidity up. I tried putting wet towels on my fan, leaving open bucket of water around everywhere, spraying the plants down each time I go into the room, humidifiers.... So now I think Im going to have to go buy a misting system that I can set on a timer. My humidity is way to low and I think it may be the cause of my dried out PPP.

We'll see what happens. Here some pics.

My Little Family. We're just going into week 4.

Here's my dried up PPP

Here's another PPP. This one isnt growing as fast as the dry one, but it doesnt seem to have the same problem.

Lemon Skunk. This one seems to be doing alright.
DSC_01571.JPG

Great White Shark. This one is going well. Looks like it may be getting the wrinkles like my PPP, towards the top leaves. I really need to figure out why thats happening.
DSC_01581.JPG

PPP. The last of the 3 of those that I have. Doing decent as well.
DSC_01591.JPG

OG Kush. Doing well. I have to two tops pulled to the side to allow the middle to grow out.
DSC_0156.JPG

Nice big white hair. Its not a great picture, but if you look close, right in the middle of the pic, you can make out the big white pistol.
DSC_0155.JPG

My CO2 Generator. Lol. I have a lot of holes in the tube and I strung it through all of the plants. It works. I'm not sure how much effect it will have on the plants, but it definitely is putting out a lot of gas. After shaking it up, I can barely breath if Im standing next to it, its so strong.
DSC_01511.JPG

Here's a close up on the bottle. Its a glass, 4 liter, Sangria bottle, filled with 12 cups of boiled sugar water and left overnight to cool. Then 2 tsp of Active Dry Yeast was added. 2 hours later it starts to react. Give it a good shake then and you'll for sure smell the gas.

One of my timers. I wanted to share this with everyone. $19 at Home Depot. You cant beat that deal. The whole left side is a digital timer, with 7 settings. The other side is just a basic power strip. This thing can take up to 1,500 watts or around 20 amps. Thats not exact, but its somewhere around that. I have 1,350 watts plug into this one right here and its perfect. Doesnt even get hot.

Re: Tims First Hydro Grow- TONS OF PICS!! -Need Help OG Kush, Lm Skunk, GWS, Church,

Hi Tim Said I would look in and here I am. Looks like you have some good help already:grinjoint: I'm like Tiger, I know about soil and not much about any kind of Hydro, but we do know how to grow. When we can help, believe me we will speak up.
Your journal and set are great, by the book. I think your one of those people that will just suck up all the info you can get. Well done:nicethread:

So far I think everyone thinks your doing ok.:peace:

I think it's cool that your starting a co-op. Good luck with that too. World needs more folks like you. :thanks:

Re: Tims First Hydro Grow- TONS OF PICS!! -Need Help OG Kush, Lm Skunk, GWS, Church,

Looking nice man! very nice thread.

Have you seen my timer...it's made for my 4 x 600w, so it takes 2400w
a very nice and safe timer with a backup batteri so the clock on the timer don't stop incase of a power failure ;)

PEACE!!

I just checked it out. Pretty nice. So it has a backup battery that can support 2400 watts?? Damn... I know big generators that would struggle keeping up with that kind of wattage. How long does the battery hold up before fading out??

Re: Tims First Hydro Grow- TONS OF PICS!! -Need Help OG Kush, Lm Skunk, GWS, Church,

Hey man stopping by to check it out One question...
I read you were guessing the PPM? if so you need to get a TDS meter soon they are cheap.
Also when my plants got wrinkly and dry it was from having to much nutrient in the water it builds up in the older leaves and drys them out when it gets bad the get the burn and start dying where the salt builds up to much thats my take on it at least.
But I would check the PPMs and see what your really at.

Oh and one thing you have a lot of info here some people will just skim through so if you have ongoing issues you still need help with keep asking...
Great pictures and everything looking pretty good
