At what point do you start topping , and its been a minute so dont remeber all the lingo lst hst , any type of training. This is only my 2nd grow and its been so long its relearning everything again. And for hydro guys using hydroton what do u do your ph at 5.5-5.8 or 5.8-6.2 what?

I top at 5th node, like day 15-20ish

I try to top after the second node so I can quadline or flux, others wait until the 5th node, and I'm sure others will have differing opinions. As for the PH anywhere from 5.6 - 6.3, I always shoot for 5.8 myself.

So you top once it has 5 nodes, then what kind of training do you do? And how many times do you most often do just once?

@labexperiment so you too super early so you can quadline or flux is that another type of training? Like i think its called main lineing where you top it and then fold the two nodes grow out giving you to colas but you bend them over so you basically get 2 plants on one a d you top ones again once they have grown enough on each side?

This is from my first grow ever and is a good example of what used to be refereed to as fluxing, but has many names now like quad lining. At the time they called it Fluxing in reference to the movie Back to the Future.The stalk sticking up the middle did not have a cola, I just did not cut it off short enough.
If anyone has other names for it go for it.
