Trimming question

Wondering if I should maybe trim some of these larger fan leaves to get more air and light in there or just leave it as is because the leaves will help?

I'd leave them, at least until the plant gets bigger. They are factories converting nutrients to what the plant needs, and warehouses. I just remove the ones not getting enough light.
