Trimmings

I'm going to be getting a small amount of trimmings from a plant and I'm wondering if my plant is only a foot and a half tall, are the trimmings worth saving for cannabutter? I only have maybe 10 good fan leaves or so but the leaves around the cola and other buds have trichomes all over them.

If so is their a preferred way to store trimmings?

you can save them in the freezer if its not enough thats what i have done many times an just combine it with another crop later on.
