Trying my go with extreme leaf defoliation in flower

I've seen so many pics and videos on defoliation. Not at just the usual point early in Veg when training and tying down, but removing large amount of fan leaves 3 weeks into flower to open them up so they just let go and grow! I'll keep posting pics as they recover, I think it's going to be more like an explosion of growth.... First group of pics will be early Veg defoliation, their recovery. 2nd group will be 3 weeks into flowering photo period after aggressively defoliating. The 2nd pic, the one under the purple hue LED, that was 4 days after the Veg defoliation and tie down. During flowering plants are moved into room with 1000 watt double ended HPS. I like to use Green lights in the dark cycle. I've 2 nightlight green LED'S and 1 10 watt green spiral CFL. Leave them on 24/7, nothing to remember or extra timers. They use little electricity. Makes dark cycle work possible and nearly impossible to have a light leak unless you purposely make it happen. The green lights and light out shades allow me to Veg in the room 18 hours on and Flower in the closet 12 on. The green overpowers what little light may leak in. I'll post some new pics in about a week after the flower stage defoliation....

I also use another grow area to bring up clones and seedlings. These 4 are OG Kush clones. The short 1 is much younger, the taller ones are 3 weeks since snipping off the mother plants. The short 1 is 2 weeks old. They all are rooting nicely. Next week I'm starting some critical Purple autoflower's. I almost have every grow area filled. Always having something in flower is the goal.... The hand pic clone is the short clone of the group pic. This little guy took twice as long to root in my beta tank than usual. I experimented with this one and added Rooting Hormone only after this point in pic. The roots already there formed suspended in my beta tank which is in the extreme side lighting of the HPS. They get just enough light. I don't cover them, I just pile them in any opening. They stay green. They love the aerated water and the fish waste and available nitrogen is just right to nurse the cutting till they root. I cut a slit in the root to expose more of the tender fleshed internal surface area of the stem. Again, no rooting powder is needed.

Pruning effects on yield?

What are your thoughts on if I'm putting bud booster and plant food into the water for them therefore the plant wouldn't need the stored nuteients from the fan leaf and would render it useless?? I haven't a clue how a plant gathers and sends its neutrients to be honest I'm not the guy to...
