I have a new project going so I thought I would create a separate journal documenting it. Plus it gives me more to do!

My original plan was to create a mother. After further thought I decided that it didn't make sense to start growing mothers since I don't have the space to keep more than one and I want to grow different strains. So I found this little one plant tent and decided that it would be a good project to see if I could grow this plant in a pot on the cheap. So I plan on buying a cheap <150 LED grow light, I have a tent and I may have to get a mini CF, but I'm trying to figure out how to hook this tent up to my 4x4 tent and use its CF to vent the little tent also.
Will see how that works.

A little backstory:
I bought 6 Blueberry clones and in the process of super cropping them I broke one, about 6" from the top. So I took the broken girl stuck her in a rockwool cube with some root starter:

Well with a little nurturing I built here a little room transplanted her in a pot with coco. Here is how she looked starting out:

I'm expecting my tent tomorrow and it will replace my home made cardboard enclosure.

Ok that's all for now but I hope to get 2 OZ from a 18x24x36" tent. My total cost should be under $300.
This will work out perfectly, I should harvest this halfway into my next growing cycle on the 4x4 tent. So when this is done I'll take a clone of the next plants I grow (I'm thinking GS Cookies) and start another single plant grow. What do you think? Good Plan?
 
High ya Tryshard ! Nice start on the LST for your BB. I have a blueberry in my flower room, 1st time I have grown this strain so I let her go naturally with just a topping. She is doing very well. I will have some new pics up today so stop by my journal and take a look.

I get my tent today, so I will be installing that. I am researching inexpensive LED Grow lights. If you want to see what the BB looks like near harvest check out my other grow in my sig.

I got the tent, and I'm very impressed with the quality of build and the design. It came with a case, also a Velcro hang bag. There is Velcro everywhere (almost too much), and the zippers are well flapped for light. Took maybe 15 minutes to install, took longer to tear down my old cardboard enclosure.

I still need to get a CF and Fan and an LED Grow Light. I was thinking a 100W would do.
 
Update today. I have reviewed my money situation and I have decided that I am not going to buy an LED. One's that I can afford are probably crap and a waste of money. But CFL's in a small tent like this should work well. And to keep the plant small I am going to bloom now. Here it is with the added CFL's they are 60W each.

Wow new problem with Windows 8.1. I took the free upgrade from 8.0 to 8.1 and now it won't upload multiple pictures, only one at a time. This is a serious problem for a picture post addict like me. I searched the internet and its all over, facebook is blowing up over it, people can't upload their cat pictures.

Veg is over, I'm going to bloom. It was in veg for about 6 weeks, or I should say I broke it trying to supercrop a plant about 6 weeks ago. So 2 weeks for roots and 4 week veg.

no sir 100 watt isnt enough led watts you want 3 watt diodes and 2 180 watt ufo 10 band will do it(114 actual watt each). they cost $95 each. that will grow the 1 plant perfect and put out very little heat. i have 1 of those led's it does about 60% of 1 plant perfect. or you could get 1 of them and use cfl to help on the sides. there is also a 300 watt led ufo that puts out 220 actual watts that would work also.
 
Most work I do with my girls is in veg! So not sure how much input of use ill be able to give. Id veg another 1-2 weeks min then we could do some work at fattening up the branches and get budsites set in prep.
So if you can go a little longer In veg your yield would most definitely see a benefit.
Def no more defol for a while my friend. :)

I was looking at her this morning and I agree, it could use a couple more weeks of veg. I just don't want her to get too big. I wanted to do a small plant, that a person could do at home to just keep themselves supplied with top shelf medicine. But certainly at least another week to build up the stalks some would be good. I'll think that's good advise.
 
Whilst in veg, I gently at first start bending, flexing and kinking each branch. This causes them to fatten up as they protect themselves. It doesn't harm them as long as you dont go to nuts and snap something :) :)

OK I'll start to do a little of that today. Will post some pictures late. I've been doing a little of that, one of the main stalks has some stress lines in it that are starting to heal up.
