Two Men Arrested And Cannabis Of Approximately €600,000 Following A Search In Dublin

Ireland - Two men were arrested and cannabis of approximately €600,000 following a search in Dublin and Co Louth on Friday and Saturday. Gardaí from the Dublin Traffic Corps in the Blanchardstown area stopped and searched a vehicle around 10pm on Friday 25th October. Following on from this incident, a house was searched in Drogheda on the morning of Saturday 26th October.

According to Gardaí, the search uncovered a cannabis cultivation operation, yielding a quantity of cannabis plant and herb with a potential street value (subject to analysis) of approximately €600,000. Two men, aged 25 and 35, were held at Blanchardstown Garda station in connection with the incident and will appear before court on Monday 28th October. Gardaí from the DMR Traffic Corps, Garda National Drugs Unit, and Drogheda were involved in the operation.
