I think she's just about done stretching but I had to raise my lights to accommodate her needs....

The 3 Bdays are on the right..

Taller than everything else and the supports are already being added...

She looks more like a vine than a plant... there are branches everywhere. Not a real leafy plant though so the light is hitting all that lower growth.. My last run had almost no popcorn

Here's some side branching stretching out... there's no way that this branch will ever hold up some buds on its own.

Lots of work to be done on these ladies while they grow.

I'll remove a nice amount of this lower branching at 21 days. They won't produce much and I don't want to deal with them... lol.. she's so lucky she tastes good..

Flowering tent update..
Sorry this update didn't happen sooner but I've been real busy and tired.. Things get a Lil ruff sometimes but I'll keep this journal going with updates as much as I can.


So here she is, half of them are almost done and the other half is just getting started.

Birthdays cakes on the right towering over the rest of the tent.. These three ladies need to calm down, they're a lot taller than they have ever been and they seem to be loving life right now.. I still love them though..

Purple Urkle Glamor shots..
Don't worry, I tell them how beautiful they are and how much i love there smell every day.. The color is coming through on the tops really nicely but the lower growth is still green. I've been flushing with purple maxx and to be honest, I don't think it's helping. They will be getting some cooler air here soon and the night before I harvest I'll but them in the cold garage with a fan so I can get to work asap the next day.

I'm having a hard time capturing the color with these lights and the flash isn't helping. The flash reflects off all the resin... stupid trichomes .

I could have probably cut these ladies at 8 weeks but I like them to be nice and stoney. There indica effect mixed with amber trics makes me mellow and calms me when I'm worked up. It puts my friends and family to sleep but weed doesn't do that to me. I don't have a problem sleeping and if I smoke before bed my mind races in wonder land while I ponder things that interest me. My problem is that I don't want to go to bed, I want to live life and I'll rest later.

I'll have lots of shots of these ladies once harvest starts. I take lots of pics before, during and after harvest and I'll end the updates with a final weigh in and a ton of dry nug shots..

Blackberry.. 8 weeks..
I usually let them go 9 weeks but I'm not going to even start flushing them until almost every hair is red. I'm thinking 10 or 11 weeks. I'm bored of this strain right now since I've been running them a lot lately so I want them to be as fantastic as possible.. They're smelling really good and are happy so I'll let them go as long as they want..

Birthday Cake , week 3.
These ladies flower fast. They go 8 weeks and there done, nice quick flowering time on these ladies. I think it's because the start flowering really quick after the flip. They're really tall and I'm getting some dried crumbling leaves at the bottom due to being under watered. I have one chance per day to water and I water them every other day and it's not enough. Unless I start waking up every other day at 2:30 am to water them they might suffer until they calm down. I think I might add some top soil and a nice cup of water right down the middle tomorrow to see if I can quench their thirst... I do not want to water every day..

She's boring.. not much going on besides stretching. She's easy to grow and happy but she'll get exciting soon..

Purple Urkle growing dense nugs on her toes... I like her

Every time I see this I want to get stoned.. I like them frosty too..

Veg tent update:

All seems well in the Veg tent except the Blueberrys, they're still acting weird. No matter, they hit flower in a few days..

Birthday cake clones... they're about to come out of the humidity dome and start growing. I use a 24 watt t5 for my dome and every thing grows really slow under this light. The plants to the left are my viper city OG13... I'm saving them for a rainy day.

Orka Cookie x Purple Urkle cross..
She is as happy as can be except for some purple stems. It may be from the cold but it's most likely a deficiency. It usually goes away in flower. Both her parents are stinky and tasty so I'm reallllyyyy looking forward to seeing what she produces. It's going to smell so freakin good.. I'm running 3 of them and looking for a stable keeper.

CKS Blueberry regulars..
These 3 all look different and are all unhappy in different ways. Weird yellow blotching, crusty looking marks on the leaves and now some small brown spots have occurred.. I either forgot to add cal/mag or she wants more.. Maybe she's too close to the light. They obviously don't like me but I forgive them.. they hit flower soon so Im hoping the new growth from the stretch looks better than she did during veg..

2 Orka Cookie #5 clones.. I had some root pics but I accidentally erased them... oops

My next update will be the purple Urkle Pre Harvest because they all come out of the tent tonight for a pruning and I'll have them ready to chop when I get home tomorrow.... I haven't been this excited for a harvest in a long time. Tons of work to be done but the smell of these Urkle makes it all worth it.

I also have a walkthrough of my rental property ( Checking fire alarms) next week so I'll show everybody how I hide my plants. Both tents will have to come down and everything will be put away. It actually gives me a chance to clean and rearrange to my liking. I live in California and it's legal to grow but I would rather keep that part of my life to myself ( and 420 mag, you guys are cool)..

Flowering tent update.

The Urkles are out and waiting for me to get home so I can spend a all nighter with them. lots of trimming to do but I'll get lots of pics along the way.. It might be a nice day today too so I might have some natural light for my pics..

Orka Cookie #5 .. I'm going to let her spread her arms out for a bit before a wrangle her into a corner. Lots of branching and she's finally starting to bud. She definetly doesn't grow as fast as the BDay Cake but she's a stinker.

Blackberry getting close. Lots of white hairs still but she's packing on weight too. I should get a few ounces off her..

I cut back on the cal/mag to early... oops.

4 fat tops and lots of side buds... she wants to fall over more and more every day.

She's grows so fast and frosts up quick. She's almost 4 weeks and she looking nice and healthy. Lots of light getting to the lower growth too.

I'll have another pre harvest update later so until than, smoke some for me

I don't think it's too late. Once I noticed the issue I went back too 5ml per gallon instead of the recommended 2.5ml. The damage is done but I hope it doesn't spread.. I was kinda worried about the flush but I think I'll use tap water in hopes of controlling the issue until harvest... either way I'm going to smoke it so no biggie.

I am very impressed with the patience! That is the best nute you can ever give cannabis. Most people just cant do it. Did you do a flush? And have you ever heard of backbuilding? Bc flushing and backbuilding will both give you a much more swell on you colas. I recently tried backbuilding on my last harvest and noticed a very big difference in the swell after that. And during flush also bc she uses up her nutes and they just get nice and plump

Being patient is definetly the hardest part. I know she's a 8 week strain but I personally like how she looks at 9. I really wanted to chop her early but I fought the urge .

I did flush her a little longer than recommend (12 days with general organics) they suggest 7 but I knew Urkle could take it.

I've never heard of back building so I looked it up and sure enough Light Addict pops up with the how to.... very interesting and I'll have to give it a shot soon.
