New to the forum and growing. Do these seedlings look ok for two weeks old? They are in ffof. Should I transplant them into 3 gallon smart pots? Thanks

I’d likely wait another week or so before transplant. They are pretty tiny still.

What I did was to pop one out carefully and checks it’s root mass before deciding to transplant.

My concern was manhandling them without properly established roots.

The picture I attached is the day I transplanted from solo to 5 gallon! Day 18 from sprouting.

Wow that’s a nice looking seedling! I wanted to go with the 5 gallon smart pots but I don’t have enough room. I’ll wait another week. Thanks

Glad to have you with us...

Your plants look healthy, but they look a little stretched-(too far from the lights,or not enough light)

What kind of lights are you using, and how far are they from the plants?

I had the lights at 36 inches lol. I have since lowered it to 24 inches. I decided to transplant two of them to see how they would do. I actually did the transplant the day after I made my first post. This is them today.

I have the Viperspectra par600. Should I lower the light a little? I’m also just using the blue light for now. What do you think? Thanks

The tallest is about 7 inches. Does that seem to be to stretched out for 20 day old seedling? The leafs are also getting a lot bigger since last week. Sorry for the double post.

Yeah they are stretched heres some of mine atm they are 15days old from seed, i got the best results using t5 about 3-4 inches away

It sounds a little tall, but it should stop stretching since you've lowered the light-You can "shorten" them a bit when you up-pot them, just bury them an inch or so deeper into the soil.
They're all looking very happy, btw - You're doing great so far!

If you post more pics, maybe give us a sideshot?-hard to tell just how tall they are in an overhead pic.

My girls. The back 2 are 15 days old. I to have the Viparspectra 600watt LED. The green Crack is a week old

If tgeyre stretching like that i would. I keep mine at 26. Inches. That's as high as i can. Its just the way yours are maybe but id definitely try brining it down a couple inches at a time.

Mine's a 1000watt led (actual draw 200watt),and I just measured it-20" from the top of the plants.
plants are a month old. They're loving it.And so am I.

Welcome to 420,Rick
