Purple Urkle smoke report
She turned out ridiculously good. That smell coming from her buds is intoxicating. I could sit here all day sniffing this bud and still couldn't get enough. Just the smell hitting my nose gave me the most delightful feeling, aroma therapy at its finest. The super sweet and grape/berry notes are extremely strong with this bud and fill the air quickly with the most unique smell.. I can't get over how fruity she smells, 10x better than I remeber... She was a low yielder with small buds but that smell makes you forget that it won't last forever..
She turned out frosty with hints of purple bleeding through the cloudy trichomes. The buds were dense and small and with tons of bright orange hairs. I thought she was pretty..

I picked my trusty steam roller for this session so here we go..
Well, she tastes just like she smells, grape and fruity every puff of the way.. Even the end of the bowl has a sweet flavor, very tasty. That first green hit is a doozy though, the flavor hits your senses hard and there's no way you could mistake it for anything else. Super intense terps and very unique mouthwatering sweetness. After I stopped relishing in the flavor I noticed I was stoned, zoning out and starring while thinking interesting thoughts, after about 30 min my eyes became droopy and I entered chill mode... That's were I'm at now.. I'm smoking more later because my mouth is watering just thinking about it

Birthday Cake Kush Smoke Report
I had some high expectations when I picked up this clone ( Thanx "The Bakery" and Harborside Oakland). She had two fantastic parents, Girl Scout Cookies and Cherry pie. While she was growing she looked great, real frosty with that cookie smell coming from here buds.. She was a pain in the ass to grow though, thin stems and buds falling all over the place. She wasn't the highest yeilder with a nice gap between each bud and lots of fluff down low but all my hard work paid off, she's my Favorite this grow.
She came out looking great with a nice density. I'm loving all those bright orange hairs and that frosty green color. Not super colorful but there's nothing wrong with a tasty green bud. I'm also liking the big far calyx blooms, makes her seem chunky.

Here's the piece I broke off to smoke, I choose my pipe for this smoke report....
Before I smoke I usually like to give by buds a good sniffin. I squeeze them, break them up and put it all in a small container and then I pop the top and let my nose examine the fragrances. This birthday cake had the most delightful smell. The strong cookie smell has been replaced with what I would call a sharp sweet cherry smell with cookie vanilla stank under tones. Definetly stings the nose with each wiff and that sweet cherry cookie smell hits your senses and let's your brain know what's about to happen. After giving it a good smell you know your about to get stoned and you know it's going to hurt.
The first hit stings everywhere on the inhale. My mouth was filled with that raunchy cookie taste and a Lil sweetness and my throat had a light sting while I was fighting to keep the hit in. The inhale seemed to be expanding in my chest and was telling be "It's time to exhale"..., so I did and that sharp sweet cherry flavor hit my senses hard and gave a nice chronic sting to my nose. The flavor was off the charts and the experience on the exhale is something I crave daily now. I've never had a bud taste so different than the inhale like this. Hands down my favorite bud to smoke and the smell alone screams quality everytime I smell it. Highly recommended if anybody is interested and I'm currently growing 3 more. I actually tried this strain a couple months ago and it wasn't even close to the buds I grew.. It was either lower growth or a similar cut because mine came out way stinkier and tastier.

Hey I'm kind of curious what kind of camera are you using, these pics look amazing, it's not just your point-and-click cell/tablet camera for sure right?

I'm sorry to disappoint you but it's just the camera on my Galaxy. I'm using the highest pixel setting and I usually turn the auto setting off and adjust to my liking. I also adjust the exposure values to my liking. To keep things steady I use a jar to rest my phone on so I don't have to rely on my shaky hands.
I think the real reason they turned out well is the natural lighting. All these shots are outside but not in direct sunlight. I also take almost a 100 pics per post and select my favorites. I'm really picky about the pics I post.

Ohhh okay yeah I think the natural lighting probably helps a ton. I hate having to use the flash on mine because it makes it look different than just natural light.

Final update...
Thank you to everyone who followed along and checked out this journal, it's very much appreciated and justifies all the work to keep these journals going, much love.
