Selfing backcrossing can make it express more they are considered non dominant traits or recessive traits.Inbreeding brings them out more if both parents are f1s of the same parental line. But with F1s of different parents and other hybrids the gene mixing hides there appearances from better gene mixing.
Might be a slim chance since it's only the one branch showing that trait,but If you've got the means,it wouldn't hurt to try.
If it weren't flowering,you could clone that branch,but it's a bit late for that.
