We, the people of the US Virgin Islands, have begun the Citizens Initiative/Referendum procedure to put legalization (full legalization) of marijuana/cannabis/hemp on the November 2010 ballot! Petitions are being circulated as we speak. This legislation will allow tourists to purchase temporary use permits, have cafe's, restaurants featuring cannabis infused meals, herbal markets where you can purchase you favorite flavor of herb, herbal infused goods, and alternative treatments. Responsible adults will follow the laws we are writing - responsible use in restricted public places and in private.

Residents will be registered, growers and those selling any cannabis product will be licensed.

We are hoping to bring a bit of paradise to those who use medically and those who use responsibly.

Feel free to contact USVI NORML at 340-244-9179

We have an educational program we are needing to implement fully, but lack funds. We must re-program (teach the truth) the residents to the truth about this plant. All donations will benefit this program. Contact me for additional information on donating. The response so far has been extremely favorable and we are very positive that November 2010 will see this on the Ballot! But we can use your help.

Bless,

Linda Adler
