UVB seems to be working

Hello I have been using a pair of Gavita uv lights along with a Spider Farmer SE 7000 in a 5'x5'
They have been running the full 12 hour cycle for around 2 weeks with no apparent bad effects

Does this mean being a UV-A light they are not doing much good ?

I use the same lights and use for 30 mins at lights on and lights offfor week 7-, and 45-mins for lights on and off in week 8 with amazing results.

UVB is what causes sunburn in humans and plants alike. If the UVB is too strong we get are skin burnt and cannabis leaves alike will burn without sufficient trichomes hence the trichomes protect the cannabis plant as a defense mechanism. Trichome's function (one of their functions anyway) is to protect the buds from sunburn. I'm not too sure what uva will do for trichomes.
