Veg 18/6 vs. 24

I know that veging with the lights on 24/7 achieves faster growth, and therefore gets you into the flowering stage sooner, but does anyone know if there are any disadvantages to veging 24/7 instead of on an 18/6 daily cycle?

Also, I have read that some varieties won't fully mature unless there is a final light cycle, maybe a week or two, with less than 12 hours of light per day. Has anyone experimented with trying this?

I think they mature slower in veg at 24/0.

You mean it creates a longer flowering cycle?

No. I found that vegging for 24/0 for 40 days was too long. With 20/4 I only need 30 days to get to the same size.

In other words, the grow faster unde 20/4 in my opinion

You got any info on the less than 12 hours of light final period I mentioned? Would 10/14 be too little light for the last 2 weeks or so, or is this just a bad idea alltogether?

iam sure it make sense to do 18 6 or 20 4.as plants need dark to grow.its natural
