OK well, im going to be starting my first real grow soon, have seeds on the way, and ordered a darkroom grow tent, 24"x24"x55"
I wanted to go with one 600W hps and a 400W MH. I was going to order a 600W lumatek digital 120V ballast. Which brings another question, will that work for both MH and HPS or should i stick with jsut getting a 400w lumatek ballast for both?
Anyway on my real question. My ideal ventilation setup would be a. carbon filter, then ducting, hooked up to hood, then ducting hooked to fan, then ducting leaving the tent. But with such a small tent, i dont think that is going to be possible. So now im left brainstorming again.
Would it be possible to keep temps down without using a glass shield on the hood, and just having a exaust fan hooked up pulling air from the tent along with 2 or 3 oscillating fans?
I would appreciate ANY help i can get that would be awesome. or just suggesting with a small space that i have.
