I have 1 intake fan forthe room which is hooked to a carbon filter.
I am about to install a second intake fan to hvae that draw from the hoods of the 3 1000w hps. Does this intake fan need to be hooked to a carbon filter as well si I can completely eliminate all smells? This is all up in the attic where I have the fans and the carbon filter.
How do I get fresh air intake as well?
I have an air conditioner unit to cool the room.

long overdue response, but I'll give one anyway. You dont need a carbon filter for your light exhaust. As long as your lights are sealed you can run a flex line from the last light to a fresh air source. That way you'll have a continuing flow of clean air running through your lights. No need to filter.
