That's actually funny you brought that up..
I shot it on a little "spotlight" of sunlight that was peeking through a hole in the trees outside my kitchen window, onto my floor..
Walked by, saw it, and thought just that, spotlight!!
Quickly positioned a nug on top of an encyclopaedia, and slid it under the spot.
Lied down on the floor, and shot it.
The wife walks in the room, almost trips over me and the nug, sees what I'm doing and says "Coooooool."
I love how natural light makes it look exactly how it did when I was looking at it then. (minus the sparkles )

Haha, love it! You taking pictures of your nug sounds a lot like how I do it. The ones I took the other day were spontaneous like that - I saw some light coming in through the window and shining onto a table near it - then saw my camera 4 feet away. Shazam!

I've been so busy these past 5 days, have barely had any time to update what's been going on.
Between working 2 jobs now, and building the new room on my spare time. I finally had a full day off today, and spent it working on the room.
Here's what I managed in to get done today:

-Completely dismantled all fans, exhausts, filters.
-Cleaned the whole tent, then broke it down and put it away.
-The whole new area got a good vacuuming and wipe down.
-Went to home deeps, and got some 1.5" sheets of styro board for flooring and 25 feet of 6" insulated ducting.
-Put down flooring, and set up old tent frame on top of floor as a support for both lights/filter.
-Assembled the new hood.
-Mounted carbon scrubber, lights, ducting, and exhaust.
-Buttoned everything together and fired everything up for a trail run.

2 hours later I when I came back to check, the room was running @ 76F, with 45% RH.
Got really excited and brought all the ladies in for an introduction to the new spot..
Hooked up a few fans to keep em tickled, and that was all the energy I had left.
They're all sitting inside their soon to be transplanted 3 gallons pots sleeping comfortably with plenty of room to stretch out now.
When I peeked in on them before lights out, they looked really happy.
I really think I'm going to like this setup. And the plants are dunna dig it for sure.. More room, more air, more light, more radness.
2 bags of Coco standing by for the transplant, which I hope to do tomorrow night.
I drove through hard all day, and didn't even stop to take any pictures. sorry
So the next photos you see will most likely be in the start of the new journal, or probably put up a few photos here too after the re-pot.

I hope to rectify my 420 absence near the end of the week, when I should have a day off to get everything finally finished, do a proper update, weights and smoke report,
then breathe...

I hope this will be productive for you...I realized last night as I moved my biggest veggers into the tent that I had enough youngin's going right now to fill my tent and do my out-door planting this Spring...Still Shooting for first week in April for outdoor transplant...I still will need to get my planters built and my watering system in... Reps for all your hard work!

I hope this will be productive for you...I realized last night as I moved my biggest veggers into the tent that I had enough youngin's going right now to fill my tent and do my out-door planting this Spring...Still Shooting for first week in April for outdoor transplant...I still will need to get my planters built and my watering system in... Reps for all your hard work!

Are you goin in to cold frames, or a greenhouse? I'm lookin at may 15 for safe outdoor work, when the mesquite buds, frost danger is over here.

Going to build planter boxes out of 2 X 12s...May seems late to me, but I'm in the desert. And my block wall provides protection from wind chill issues and my citrus trees have never had a frost issue...I will be transplanting plants that are 4-6 weeks old outside when the time comes...

I am visualizing 3-4 ft shrubs lining my North Wall...planning on LSTing and supercropping the girls to the max...I may even build an outdoor scrog. I will have two other places in my yard where I will have "shrubs", but the most exposed area will have my vegetable garden....I should have all the workers out of my yard by Friday...AC being installed Friday and landscaper trimming the citrus trees back some time this week. Then I will have no reason for anyone other that myself to be in there after that...seems like the AC has always been an issue...

That is a nice size, they may end up twice that wide! The south side of a north wall is prime, I had one there last summer, a litte too close to the wall and I had some excessive heat. I would like to find a better abode, I can't do it here this summer, my landlord ( who is the other half of my duplex ) saw a couple of my plants and almost shit hisself. I was just trying to find the most stealthy place, and the plants suffered because of it. I shouldn't complain, my utilities are included in my rent, and he dosen't care about the bill, or what I do inside. He suggested that I do it on the roof...LOL...Too hot! I'll bide my time and when the door opens to a better gig I'll move.

I drive rebar in the ground and tie the support legs to that...worked well with sunscreen I had over the plants before...even on a pretty windy day during monsoon season...

Should have some update photos to post later tonight!
Smoke report might have to wait a few more days as I really want to devote a night to it without anything else.
It's all beautifully cured now and the smell at first jar crack, is incredible.
