Looks great but I think you're confusing something. You won't see trichomes unless you can magnify the bud.

There is so much terminology in this great hobby it's sometimes hard to keep it all straight. I suppose you may have meant to say "no amber trichomes yet"...? Or perhaps you have confused one term for another?
Plants look good regardless.
