West Hippie 420 OG Clones LED Hydro

If you don't want all that extra N, I suggest getting gypsum, I use it as a secondary source of Cal. It has sulfur too and MC would do a lot better with more sulfur, mine is generally over 100.

If memory serves, calcium nitrate is a larger granual than magnesium nitrate, so it will take more time to dissolve. I go through this when mixing each into concentrates.

This calmag is fluffy and it was the larger granuals that was hell to dissolve!

Hey hippie. Looks good. You seem well versed in hydro. I was running lpa in 5 gal bucket and switched to a res and 3x 5 gal buckets and have the pump running 30 min on 1 hr off. Is that too much for a drip system.

Keep a mixing jug nearby. A one gallon jug would do just fine and you can mix all of the salts into one gallon, then mix that gallon with 19 of RO. This is how I have to add my organic powders and gypsum, whip it all into a liquid, then add the liquid to the res for the week.

I’m doing 15 minutes every hour during the light cycle . Lights out it’s 30 minutes every three hours . I found out if you water too much the leaves just droop instead of praying to the light !

Hungry Girls good situation Nutrients buffers are working and taking a balance of nutrients.
Hate to say it but it but I pissed them off tied them down which might change this situation!
Posted these pics in the wrong thread !

I can see where the light is missing on the two 600 vipar spectras , you’d think they would cover each other it’s straight down beam . The Kind 750 is pushing thru to the table due to the fact it has to be farther away or fry the leaves .

That seems like a lot of N without any headroom to bump up the nutes as you go unless you pull the cal-mag out.
Here's 100 on 20 w/o CalMag for comparison.
Thanks for posting those SB! Would something that's 2-0-0 like Botanicare be better suited for WH here?

And out of pure curiosity, why list the elements as NKP in your table rather than NPK as we always see them posted?

Yeah, Vegan @5 grams per gallon and Botanicare CalMag @ 3.5ml per gal IMO look fantastic. Nice high Calcium, N is much lower now too. There's a respectable amount of Mg too, though I still feel P is on the thin side, but this may be good in a lot of ways, but still, watch for purple petioles and slow growth.

IDK what you mean about the difference between NPK in a table versus NPK as you see them posted? NPK on the bottle is always represented as a percentage which itself is just parts per hundred (%). So for instance 2-0-0 can also be expressed as 20,000 ppm of N.

Oh, NO3- is nitrate, and all the way down bottom NH4+ is ammonium. IDK why the app divides them in the listing, plus also it lists K and P in swapped positions. For the life of me, IDK why the app was laid out like that, especially since the designer is a hydroponic genius and the most recent version of the app implies that it was a work in progress over time, yet for reasons unknown, it's laid out this way. I know @FelipeBlu is using another app or a spreadsheet that is laid out correctly I believe if you want something for calcing your feeds?

The Ca and Mg are inverted too, those little things fuck me up a lot. The app is free and does all the math correctly so I aint complaining!

Couldn’t ask for any better. Ph in the reservoir is great , I guess MC sweet spot is 5.8 with MC calmag! With AN nutrients sensi calmag it was 5.6 ! There all pointing to the light!

Nice roots, nicer plants!
Thanks InTheShed it seems to be coming along with no issues. Sunday’s water and nutrients change I’ll just use MC no calmag and up it if needed . No response from MC !
