What are the chances?

i no i post a lot of questions and its easy searching the internet but i find information to be better when its come from some1 with first hand experience, anyway iv got a chilli plant in my kitchen and its got little bugs on , could be thrips/aphids hard to tell seen as tho there so small, i plan on starting a grow in the next week or so , what are the chances of them spreading upstairs into my grow room? i dont mind throwing it if i have to but if the chances are slim il save it. thanks

Bugs can travel through gusts of wind, on your clothes, on pets. So it is definitely possible.
