What are these plant structures?

Hi All,

First time grower and I'm not too sure what I'm looking at here:

These plants are nowhere near flowering, and this is the only plant of 6 that has these little ball-like clusters.

What is it?

I thought plants typically didn't show sex until just before flowering? Is this an outlier?

Is it too soon to celebrate the other 5 being female?

Just went through the same thing but mine was a hermaphrodite. My Purple Kush just went into 12/12 for the last two weeks now and all the fem seeds have held true.

Thanks for the offer CO, but I my camera don't really focus so well.

Now that I'm pretty clear what males look like, it should be easy enough to spot one if pops up again. I don't see anything closely resembling the pollen sacs on the other plants.
