Not quite sure what these are, are they grasshoppers?

Vinegar is a very effective solution to keep grasshoppers at bay. Mix with water and spray on your crops as needed. Hot pepper wax also works as an excellent repellent

That I’m not sure of. 1/2 and 1/2 sounds like it would be pretty potent stuff. I tried looking it up, but couldn’t find it. I found an article doing so, hopefully it helps Check it out.
