What happens if I mist my plants with lots of rainwater?

Just curious because I've heard people saying foliars are bad, spraying them a lot is bad, etc.

Aside from a PM concern which are non-existent due to my arrid conditions, what else is bad about misting my plants a few times a day with water?

You're probably not going to do much/any harm, assuming it's not contaminated, its pH is not too extreme (some rain can be quite acidic), you're not doing it under intense lighting, et cetera. But my question is why do you want to? Are your plants dirty? People choose to grow cannabis indoors for a variety of reasons. One reason is so that they can control the environment.
