Hey every1, I have started growing and this is my first time and I seem to have this girl clawing hard and now the leaves are starting to get deformed! I flushed her with pH 5.8 water for 2days then gave her full dose but nothing seems to change her?. She is in week 5 of veg and I'm not sure if it's the strain or what I'm giving her to much of? I've watched heaps of vids and read heaps of info so I do know a bit about everything, and have tried to follow the ways but it seems that it just won't change when I'm trying to feed her? What can I do to change . Thanks

Hi @SourDiesel42050 and welcome to the forum! Let's see if we can get you sorted out. First, your pH... is that coco that you are in or some other soilless mix? So you starved her for 2 days on just water and then fed... so I am assuming you feed every day?
That all being said, your plants appear to be overwatered. If you are in soil, I totally understand what is going on and how to help you... but if you in coco we need to look at the nutes you are giving her.
More info please!
:welcome:

Hi Sour. welcome to 420 mate.
need a little info so help try to find a cause. pics are a great help but need to know
lights ( could be sole cause)
feeding nutes how often you are feeding. also have you used any product to keep your res disease free. temps of 19 °c will bena breeding ground for root rot without precautions or cooling. check your root zone IMMEDIATELY. what happens above the pot , starts way before , below it. If your roots look brown or tan and have any slime at all then sadly you need to act very fast. guvebusbsome info so we can gather heads together , mumble stuff and come up with a fix together

Yes I have tan roots and green slime on my rocks, how do I fix this and what shall I do?

It does sound and look.like the roots are taking a kicking. You need to empty your res asap and have an innoculent / beneficial bacteria to deal with the pathogens. Read up on root rot as soon as possible but you need to treat it quickly or you will lose the lot amd i mean days. you need an aggresssive one now it is set in . I have a product called Silver bullet roots that does just that ( sorry hopefully not a mod issue as not selling it) Hydroguard , zyms but you need to do it asap. there is a chance it is already too far gone but start by ckeaning the roots in ph'ed water after the res is empty. , any slime need removi g along with dead matter or weaker roots. it is hard to kill off once active and sadly one of the biggest problems fsced by hydro systems. Been there myself mate . fingers crossed for you. keep res below 19 at least !!!. without coolers it is hard to do in summer so i hit the coco then

The green slime is more than likley algae from the light hitting it too. common issues also with hydroton/rockwool , another good reason to treat the res. There are two routes u can take. 1 is beneficial bacteria to assist any good bacteria to grow and feed off the pathogens like hydroguard / cannazym/hygrozym . This would mean any organic growing is still possible .
2 Sterile res with silver bullet / peroxide based ect.. that will kill ALL bacteria off.
main difference seems to be around Veg root building with Bennies ( beneficial bacterias) helping to build a big rootball and with Sterile , rootball is not as big but has a whiter appearance and puts more fine lateral root hairs out to feed and would be more suited to flowering for cleaner roots to uptake nutes
