What is the carbon filter for ?

.. I have heard you can't kill the smell during growth but you can mask it with other smells.

The carbon filter helps remove odour from exhaust/extraction point to where ever that may go & normally out side of the house or grow area etc you can see why you may want smell removed ah...

As a precaution i generally back stuff up with odour removing gels around the house mainly around flowering when odour of weed gets stronger plus drying/curing time can be slight pain in the back side with odour.
