This to me is like when a bagseed grower ask what strain it is, no one can answer for sure. I think you be lucky to know for sure at harvest. if you're familar with the strains scent taste you may get them right but as long as it's good smoke who cares?
If you have taken each all the way you would be able to know upon maturity.
Right now that unknown seed is classified as "bagseed."
So when it is all finished and ready to smoke, take a test puff, .........."Huh... it tastes I took a strawberry, soaked it in lime juice and rubbed hay all over it." OH now I know what strain it is.... "Strawberry Hay-ride." done.
Or... "Huh.... it smells like feet, yet it tastes like citus cough syrup.' OH now I know what strain it is..... "Citrus Footlock-quill". done. (Then you can charge a premium because everybody knows that "Citrus Footlock-quill" is not only more expensive, it also has some historical genes in it that goes back to the days of Maui-Wowie. Right...)
