When budding is it normal for leaves to dry out?

I have a beauty budding everywhere, she's 6 ft tall and the leaves are drying even though I water her with fresh rainwater. Is it normal to have lots of leaves dry out during the budding process?

Well only in the last two week of budding will they start to dry out... They should yellow out and wilt and then die. IF the top leaves are drying out then then your girl is to close to the light.
