I am somewhat of a newbie learning a lot on my way to my 3rd harvest. I am growing an assortment of strains, some soil, some DWC, some Aero, and do not have clear info on exact length of budding cycles on strains. I struggle with when to flush. Many of my buds are large but all white hairs, some are smaller, with far more than 25% red hairs on botton of bud, and all white new growth on top. Do you flush when 25% of trich are cloudy, 50%, all? I have read so many opinions and feel I have yet to hit it right. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
Also, if you are maintaining a decent EC level, how long can you go without changing your res. I am using GH Flora or Nova. Is 2 weeks reasonable? Can you go longer? I had been changing weekly and the cost is becoming prohibitive.
