where to buy lighting?

Where is a good store in Canada that I could buy some high wattage cfl's, or any other lighting, I've looked at the home depot, but the cfl wattage is not very high at all.

The highest CFL's your gonna find at home depot:

N-vision soft white 42 watt 2600 lumens (redorange spectrum, flowering )
N-vision Day light 26 watts? and 1600 lumens (blue spectrum, vegging )

I have not seen anything better than that at homie depot. . . ( i really hate that place. . . lol )

i found 150 watters at walmart.

That true watts?? or the "supposed" output? Cause the 42 watt soft whites say 150 watts, but they only use 42 watts. . . I have always used the lower number when I add up my cfl wattage. .

Wow, I thought that really was only for security. Why do people spend tons of money on the lamps with the big reflectors then??

How many plants could that grow, 3 maybe?

I'm going HPS next month. . still undecided on 400 or 600, the cab will decide for me. .lol

they are the 42's that say 150. i'm using them in my veg closet.

yep. if you are short on bucks and long on patience they can get you through until you can afford to move up. once you have your starter setup in place the money will be easier to find for fine tuning things here and there. someday i wanna be a real master of the small, efficient and economical grow. someday......
