Who are you voting for 2012?

Rabidly anti-women's reproductive rights? I don't know where you came to that conclusion but he has stated time and time again that the states have a right via the Constitution to decide the particulars of Roe vs. Wade. He's correct. Also, since he's an OB/GYN, he actually understands the issue unlike the average politician, be they Demo-Rat or Republi-Con. States Rights have been undermined by a very dictatorial Federal government. The legalization of Cannabis is but one of many examples of State's Rights being totally dismissed by the current Obamanation administration. A vote for Obama is a vote for more government intrusion upon our lives, and for those of us who work for our money, a total disaster. He said he'd end the war in the Middle East within two years of his Presidency. Lies upon lies, Obama has told and it's time to get rid of him for good.

States' rights to regulate/prohibit abortion and birth control means women in backward states will be denied their constitutional rights to bodily ownership. It means some states will be able to enact reproductive enslavement of women. NOT cool.

That may be the case but then it is up to the constituents of that state to hold their politicians accountable and represent the people. The federal government has no role in reproductive rights. If you're state is not friendly towards abortion you can travel to another state and have it there. Similar with medical marijuana laws. Unfriendly states lose business and citizens. Many people and business have moved to MI for the medical marijuana law here and other states are now considering passing such a law because they are losing business/taxes.

However if you say Obama represents women's rights I would say you are wrong. His human rights record is atrocious. Countless journalists, activists, and whistle blowers rot in jail as we speak under his oppressive regime. He has assassinated US citizens without trial, one being a 16 year old boy. He has massacred countless women and children in drone strikes across the globe.

He does not care whether you are male or female. His goal is sinister and he is controlled by the same global bankers who got Bush elected.

Ron Paul is the only politician I can with a clear conscience vote for. I am an Iraqi vet and I vote NO to war!! Paul is the only candidate not talking about war with Iran. He understands the realities of war. For instance, over 1 million iraqi civilians were killed in Iraq and many many more are now homeless. And all this for what? To remove Hussein and his fictional WMDs! To go fight some third world terrorist who can barely feed their family? To fight some sheep herders in the mountain of afghanistan? Fuck that, Fuck Obama, Fuck Romney and Fuck Bush!

I hope everyone reading this post will wake up and begin preparing for a state of war (martial law). America will soon experience what it's like to be treated like an Iraqi, Afghani, Pakistani, Yemeni etc.

Prepare for martial law....... As near as I can tell , America has been under martial law since the Cival war..... How else can the power of Executive Order be explained ( since there is no mention of it in the constitution , Article II Section 2 ) except as acting as commander in chief of the military in time of war . If Article 1 , section 1 states All legislative powers are granted to the House and Senate , clearly this nation is under martial law as we speak , but the Government just doesn't want to admit the truth. That and the fact that the populace is to well armed for this truth to be made known to the general public. ....... Vote for FREEDOM ..... Vote Paul !

If Ron Paul weren't rabidly anti-women's reproductive rights (he opposes birth control and abortion in all cases) he might have a shot at my vote. But as passionate as I am about safe, legal, and private access to medical MJ, I am even more passionate about women's reproductive rights and safe, legal, and private access to birth control and abortion.

Obama is the best all-around choice of a bad lot to me.

Same here. Plus the gay marriage issue as well. Honestly laws should NOT be left up to states. This is 1 nation not 50. All rules should apply EVERYWHERE or NOWHERE. Why some people be refused rights just because they live in the wrong state? It is not fair! America was built on Equality and Freedom for all!

In 1787, the Tenth Amendment was added to the Constitution as part of the Bill of Rights. The amendment stipulates that "powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people."

This right via The Bill Of Rights is what used to prevent the Federal government from overstepping their authority. The Federal Government is now involved in every aspect of our lives and States Rights are mostly gone, in direct violation of the U.S. Constitution. Perhaps you think life is better now because of that? Maybe you believe that irresponsible citizens should be rewarded and responsible citizens should be punished? Perhaps you think that States don't matter and we should just give blanket authority to an international central government and disregard the states. Why even have a country at that point?

It is precisely the one issue voter and those who actually think government produces money, or anything for that matter besides legislation designed to keep them in power and make you a slave, that has given such authority over our lives in this country. Certainly it must be obvious that this has created a dead end for "life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness". Most people have a conscience, and wouldn't disagree that under certain circumstances, abortion is necessary. It is NOT just a "women's issue" since you cannot be fertilized without that which a man produces. The value of life is important and if people practiced more responsibility, abortion would not be seen as another form of contraception, thus cheapening the value of life. You may disagree and that's your right. But that doesn't mean the importance of States Rights for our individual freedoms should be cancelled because you want an abortion.

“The powers delegated by the proposed Constitution to the federal government are few and defined [and] will be exercised principally on external objects, as war, peace, negotiation and foreign commerce.” –James Madison

The Feds are way past that now aren't they? Now they take 50% of our earnings (those of us who work for a living), declare wars without congressional approval, borrow from international bankers and make us pay the debt, ship our economy to other nations, import cheap foreign labor to gain a voter base at the expense of the American worker, and the list goes on. The millions of people whose lives have been ruined and taken due to the expanding power given to the Federal government and abolishing the Tenth Amendment, and all you can concern yourself with is a single issue of abortion. Very sad.

I consider and respect your right to have the opinion that the federal government should recognize gay marriages. I would Never ever think of using FORCE against you for simply having that opinion. But I disagree. I do not think that the federal government should recognize any type of marriage (I think there is a more efficient solution to the lack of social and economic RIGHTS in our country). Would you grant me the same consideration and respect or would you use FORCE against me for simply having a different opinion on how the problem can be solved?

although ron paul would be a great choice. your pissin in the wind:( might as well vote for pat pulsen or dennis kusenich. lol that said dont want romney my opinion:peace:

Ron Paul! Ron Paul is still in the race and getting more delegates to go his way. He is starting to make Mitten nervous. ObamaRomney super packs and all major corporate media are doing thier best to block all Ron Paul coverage. The truth is Ron Paul is the only candidate that offers any type of change. He always states the same thing. He make sense.

Everyone should vote for the candidate that they really believe in. There is no such thing as throwing you vote away. Never give up on the fight for freedom.

The problem with the election is which figure head do you vote for.
Better know who is behind these dunsells before you decide.
They will not represent the people or the will of the people.

Stop the war on citizens,
cocoJoe

Gary Johnson has my vote too. Too bad he doesn't have a chance. I want Obama to win the general election so we can have a better chance to get a canditate that is for small government in 4 years rather than 8. Obama and Romney are both terrible in thier own ways. I was going to go with Ron Paul. But it looks like he has other plans now.

hate to be a whiner, but this is exactly why i do not bother to vote. NEITHER candidate is worthwhile and NOTHING will change no matter who gets in. (although i'd bet the farm that obama gets a 2nd term)

these politicians are merely puppets on a string. huge corporations and foreign leadership run this country. oh, and don't forget about the illuminati.:peace:

I voted for Ron Paul in the primaries. California has been under the yoke of the Democrat-Socialist machine for many years now, so the one person-one vote is a load of bull. One could say,"Would it be any better under Republican power?" That question is a cop-out and is only excusing the total failure of Democrat rule over California. This state never learns. The so called legislature spends, spends, spends while putting us deeper in debt with businesses leaving the state or hiring illegal aliens at record levels. Meanwhile taxes increase on the working folks. The few representatives who recommend fiscal responsibility are portrayed by the media as spiteful fascists who want to take away welfare entitlements. The majority buy the lie and let them prostitute us further into the abyss. Both parties are controlled by international banks who run the international trade cartels at the Federal level. They fund the candidates we are told are our options and we get stuck with the lesser of two evils. We believe we have no power because the psychological and philosophical BS has been piled so high you need wings to rise above it. I certainly don't want to promote negativity, but most people seem to think they are powerless because they have bought the garden variety lies from all degrees of the left and right with no results. They can't sell their crap to me. All I know is Obama and his cronies have proven to be a national disaster. I will vote with one purpose; to get his sorry ass out of power. The mantra for us must be to spearhead the 10th Amendment for States Rights. The Feds need a major Constitutional ass kicking!

I'm voting for whoever has a chance of beating Obama, period. I would vote for Ron Paul, but he can't win. I guess that means I'm stuck with Romney. Because a vote for anyone else, at this point, would be the same as voting Obama. The idea of voting for the lesser of evils is repulsive. But the only way to reduce the evils of Washington is to never vote for the greater of evils. Only vote for incumbents who's actions match there rhetoric.

Hey, didn't Ron Paul use to publish a white supremist magazine? Something about nazi's, correct me if I'm wrong. I wish a women would jump in, spice up the race a little. I would vote for Ron Paul, but I really think he's just paving the road to get one of his sons in within the next 4-8 years, just my thoughts/RIP BOB MARLEY/grace/:Namaste:
