Action alert for those in WI State Assembly districts 1, 4, 47, 56 and 96, Representatives Garey Bies, Phil Montgomery, Keith Ripp, Roger Roth and Lee Nerison.
On Thursday, we lobbied the offices of 5 Republican State Assembly representatives. Bipartisan support is critical to the passage of the Jacki Rickert Medical Marijuana Act, and we have targeted these 5 because we feel they may be supportive. If you live in any of these districts, please take a few minutes to call or email your Assembly representative. Let them know you are a constituent and that Rep. Mark Pocan will soon be introducing the Jacki Rickert Medical Marijuana Act, and that you would like them to consider cosponsoring the bill. If you have a personal story or know of someone who has benefited from medical cannabis, please share that.
