TUSCALOOSA, Ala. A 29-year-old Tuscaloosa woman is charged with one count of drug trafficking after taking possession of a package containing 15 pounds of marijuana.

Captain Jeff Snyder, commander of the West Alabama Narcotics Task Force, said drug agents and U-S Postal inspectors accompanied postal workers to a house where they arrested Katrina Lavette Stephens on Monday.

Snyder said the package was shipped from El Paso, Texas, and he doubts agents will be able to identify the sender.

Stephens was being held in the Tuscaloosa County Metro Jail on 100-thousand dollars bond.

In a similar case -- police in Brundidge arrested a man Saturday for accepting a package containing marijuana that had been shipped to a local postal facility.
