Woody mother plant

Hey guys hyd...ive been gifted a grow on top of what i had goin i have 3 revegged girls tht i wanted to use as mothers but everything is woody ....if i chop of the top 3rd of the plant do you think they will give me fleshy green growth for clones

looks rough thats for sure. why is the stem so woody, looks weird lol

Not something we talk about much but mothers can get wood. I would up-pot, feed her, and wait for her to put on some fresh growth for clones. Yes you could do some pruning- but usually I would wait for the new growth first, get my clones, and then trim out the old growth and do whatever height pruning you want after.
